I knew Nick and Shawn would be the final two guys based on how she talked about them throughout the show. She was so into both of them. I was thinking Nick was going to win when Shawn was starting to get super jealous, but later on when there were only two or three guys left, Shawn started to up his game. Shawn brought thoughtful gifts to her family (while Nick didn't bring anything), and personally went up to them to greet them (Nick just stood there awkwardly), Shawn gave a confident speech to the family when he was introducing himself, when they sat down for the meal he gave another speech and truly showed alpha dominance (Nick just insecurely sat huddled in a chair). Most importantly, Shawn was super respectful towards the parents. When he answered her mom's questions, he did so articulately and with confidence. What did Nick do? Fiddle with his hands and stutter. Even Kaitlyn's sister mentions that Shawn is going to be the one. Kaitlyn sees how her family is much more impressed with Shawn. After the family meeting, Kaitlynw as very distant with Nick. She sat about a foot away from him that night before he gave her the gift. She wasn't excited for his gift. She was just thinking the whole time, "Oh god, how am I gonna tell him I want Shawn instead?" But with Shawn, she was ALL OVER him. When he gave her the present, she was oozing with happiness. Not to mention Shawn's gift was super well thought-out and meaningful. Shawn and Kaitlyn make the perfect match. I hope they stay together. xx

And Kaitlyn and Sean had their very real and special connection from the start. I'm just really happy they are finally together. I wish it didn't have to take that long competition to end up with him in the end.
I only have one thing I don't like about the show and that is its not a suprise, sweet, and cute proposal and she knows she's gonna be engaged at the end of the day and the only people that are suprised are the viewers and the guy that gets and doesn't get the girl... and vise versa
