G fucking G's to both! To me see seeing matches like this, between weaker characters being played to their absolute best, are so much more entertaining than just watching someone playing an S-tier character like conq just bash someone to death. Plus it just takes a lot more skill

Half of his mixups will diminish 70% of stamina for a single heavy attack.
Damn, that's quite an exciting fight - I love how many cool reads both players do. I dunno who'll win but I see that HL has a huge range advantage.
Edit: holy s-, this was the closest match ever - the level of anxiety during the last round just skyrocketted through the roof. Gg to both players - honestly, both feel like winners here.

Had to be one of the best fights. HL kind of got hoed on dodging those zone attacks, but Jorm is an absolute God. As a HL main that was awesome to watch gg brother.

People complaining about light spam or bash spam need to understand that this is high level play. People don't hold back because they're worried about each others feelings. They're trying to win and if they have to throw the same attack 8 times in a row so be it. You'll never get on the same level as these guys complaining instead of adapting, that is just the truth.

Gg’s to the smooth brain anvux very scary Jorm. Also to anyone wondering why I only offensive lighted it’s simple this matchup is really bad for Jorm and the easiest way I can get damage is by offensive lights. It’s the most optimal way to play against a Jorm I wanted to experiment with it. It’s definitely toxic I won’t lie.
You have a point brother, you can only kick or kick and grab so much before the green stuff is gone haha, that's when Jorms opportunities to take over would arrive. not to mention you would interrupt most of his attacks by your offensive lights which benefited you alot.

Holy shit! That was legit the most tense fight I've seen ever! Good use of the Lights by HL to keep Jorm at bay and some amazing parries by that Jorm in that match. I didn't even know HL step back light was parryable if that's a word haha.

As a jorm main it’s inspiring to see a jorm in high level play, beating some of the best
Awesome fight. Jorm's undodgeables lights and zone are the only thing that allow this to be competitive. I don't like the way it was clutched but with HL's Stam consumption on everything I can't blame him for not wanting to risk going OOS if a heavy got parried. Surprised the HL didn't go into OS to bait the zone for the crushing counter... Jorm zone caught him out of OS tons of times. Beautiful parries by both, excellent display of skill and MU knowledge.

Theres a weird timing if you land the kick, the heavy is able to be parried. Also when you land the kick do no switch guard side.

Highlander literally just light spammed the entire time I was hoping for the jorm to win.
What was he supposed to do? Throw an offensive stance heavy into kick, wasting half his stam just for the jorm to dodge and bash him? The only option he had was to spam his offensive stance lights.
I feel like people in the comments aren’t understanding that Highlander is literally his own stamina drain. Using just one kick and heavy puts him at less than half stamina. Why would he willingly do that against a character that’s made to drain stamina and punish you for it. Of course he would use his Offensive lights. That’s the only way he would be able to win.
I kinda think Alpha could play his Highlander without the ofensive light thingy. I mean, his spacing and reads are phenomenal, if he gets them right, he just ends the fight in seconds, no need to be scraping little bits of damage with his playstyle.

Well guys that's an L for me I can take it alpha is a very good player and the offensive lights are a must to use or else he would've lost don't hate on him for using his kit. I try to do good a 15-14 is an L I can take playing such a bad hero Angelus himself said I'm locked by my char and I'd do way better if I'd play an actual good char but I wanted to have jorm like be honest there are 3 other players max who can do the stuff I do on jorm. I personally love playing bad heroes and doing good on the 3 loses I had I did good in all 3 2 15-14s and one 15-8 against better heroes are loses I can take. That was all for me was just here to ask you guys to stop shooting at alpha for using his kit it's how it is no one can change it. Have a good one don't forget to get green stuff for me🤘

Just because a character is bad doesn't mean they are hard to play. Theres plenty more than 3 players who can do "what you do" with Jorm. HA heavy mix-up as opener into unblockable, thats his optimal play. In this case it isnt anywhere near top level so enhanced lights were viable because the inability to distinguish animations. It just kinda seems like you're playing this off as well meaning but really just protecting your ego by always chosing a "worse hero". Always have an excuse for losses kinda thing

Bro do you not understand that Highlander loses almost all of his stamina using his kit. What do you know, he’s vs a hero that punishes you for not having stamina. So why would he willingly put him self at low stamina all the time? He would just get punished immediately.

Personally, this fight really exemplified why HL get so much hate despite being bad at high levels, easy to access 30 damage dodge bash, hyper armor, hyper armor lights, it not op but goddamn is it annoying, he's almost as annoying as hitokiri who again is not op by any means but they both force you to play in a specific way
