"We don't really care thing going on".... that pretty much sums up the overall vibe. Thanks for coming back around to these guys. It's not often in this day and age that a band can repackage components of the 70 years of bands that have come before them and still come up with something instantly identifiable as "them". There is something about the music of Gnome that is instantly recognizable, fresh even, despite it not necessarily being anything "new". Top that off with true metal "f**k it" spirit and you have something worth paying attention to. They don't take themselves too seriously and that is something "metal" can be short of at times.
Oh hell yeah. I love wenceslas and just now heard your reaction to it (yt recommends me those now because of how often I listened to Wenceslas) and I was wondering whether you'd also reacted to Ambrosius.

Guitar player has a video tutorial for this entire song.... riffs, solos, everything. Does a great job of it, too. He really seems like a cool dude.

RIFFS! Finally some stomping brutal and clear riffs. I love it. You know, in that way only they made me think of Ningen Isu.
Think this one was better than Wenceslas. Liked the heaviness.
Liked the lyrics.
