I have just discovered her and she is indeed amazing. Extraordinary voice, so affecting, beautiful tonal qualities, emotional, just wonderful. I am quite ignorant about Indian classical music. I just know enough to recognize its almost infinite difficulties and complexities, and starting on a journey of appreciation. I would never once for a moment attempt it. NEVER! I am American, a writer, musician, and singer. I would NEVER embark on Indian classical music - too difficult and needs so many many years of practice....
