i just finished ordering the retro and love palettes online at sephora. i’ve never tried ND and i’m so happy and excited right now. i’m so lucky because i have a gift card and i’m still in shock that the love is half off!!! i definitely want to get the glam palette next! i was definitely taking notes watching you create your looks because they were absolutely gorgeous.
I rec'd my ND Retro palette last night as well. Used it today I LOVE IT. I did not think I would love it as much as I do. Nothing compares to her quality mattes I am over the moon! Thanks for two more great eye looks! Thank you for the link, I bought more Rephr brushes LOL can't have too many!

Hey Steff, the ND palette is very pretty but it definitely looks like the Melt palette. The swatches are very pretty I really love the first look and the lashes definitely make it pop. The second look is pretty too and great for everyday but I think my fave is the second. I agree...the color story isnt unique but it is very pretty. The Wild Heart palette is pretty and similar. I love the Norvina palettes too. FW and have a great weekend.
Love the look you did! I was debating on whether to get either the glam or retro palette, but decided to get the glam because I have the Naughty palette and Modern Renaissance palette! IT was a tough choice to make.
I think I'll get the Juvias berries or mauves instead. This palette from Natasha is very monochromatic and theres bound to be shades very close to each other. I Dont like that she does that with her midi palettes. I always feel like I'm buying a 9 pan at $65. Zendo looked more varied. Maybe I'll get that one instead from her later 🙂

I wish you would have swatches the comparison palettes, especially with the Huda Naughty Nudes palette. Her shades can be pretty deceiving just by looking at them, especially those swirly shaded she has. You can't really tell what the color is until you swatch it.
As soon as Retro hits Sephora AU on 14/9, I’m gonna place the order. Initially I wasn’t even excited about it - the colour story is a bit too monochromatic and meh for me, I’m getting it anyways solely because it’s Natasha Denona and I have most of her palettes… Just like Pat McGrath Huetopian Dream, I’m getting it solely because it’s Pat McGrath and I have most of her mothership palettes… However, the 2 looks you did were so stunning I started to think it might exceed my expectations. Your eyes are so mesmerising any eyeshadow would look gorgeous on you❤️❤️❤️
I am not that excited with this palette. I love the mini Retro so much and was disappointed to see the color story of the midi palette. I checked a few videos on it and at least you are the first one that created 2 looks that are different. Mostly were 3 looks done at all looked like the same. And that's exactly why it is a pass for me on this palette. Thank you for showing this one.

I love ND formula... and i love the price point.. this is a brand i usually buy the 65$ ones.. and i feel they do transition into seasons well. I don't own any of the mini because i wouldn't reach for them. But the formula is special in my opinion. Great review as ALWAYS... i highly suggest you pick up the LOVE palette.. it is BEAUTIFUL 🌹🌹
I have had my ion that a ABH palette as well. If you could only get one, which one would you get? I know the colors are not the same but in terms of quality?
Oh wow good question! Quality they are pretty identical. I’d say it’s gonna be more of a color story factor. If you don’t wear the brighter shades that are in the Norvina palette then for sure get ND. Yes, you get more shades in the Norvina and it’s $5 less, but if you won’t wear them it’s a waste. Quality wise either is a winner.
I think this would compliment my glam and bronze palette very nicely 😁😁😁 lets hope it doesn't take too long to get here. Mind you will give me time to pay off my Afterpay first haha. Stunning looks today
Very nice eye look! For curiosity I was looking at the websites for ND palettes, lots of her palettes have carmine in many of the shades so they are essentially out for me. I didn't have my heart set on any of them or anything so it's all good. I wonder if my unconscious mind was at work and that is why I never migrated towards her palettes. Oh well. The one that did speak to me the most was the Gold palette and that was discontinued anyway. But honestly, I probably would have bought the dupe instead, I can't drop $100+ on an eyeshadow palette. Nice video though and the palette does look nice, I am sure many will enjoy it.

Oh this is a pretty palette!!! I was tempted today to order (it was available on Sephora’s app to order today!)… but then I saw the sunrise and love palette were 50% off 🎉so I picked up those two instead 🙈 I have a really hard time paying full price when I know sales will eventually come!
Nope, this really isn't for me. Having seen a vid comparing the Huda Naughty palette with swatches side by side, I was surprised that 12 shades were very alike! So, I'll be saving my pennies and using my Huda palette. Why on earth has she named this "Retro"? Just like the Zendo palette, this one bares no semblance to the mini palettes with the same name. Why not call it Glam 2 (or something) instead. I'm hoping that someday she will release a palette(s) that relate to both the Zendo and the Retro mini palettes. I love their colour stories. Oh well, fingers crossed she releases a fantastic palette for the holidays. One that exhibits her flair, creativity and uniqueness. I love the two looks you created, so much so that I'm going to pull out my Naughty palette and see if I can get anywhere near them. Would you consider doing a couple of looks using this palette and the Glam palette together? ❣❣💗💗❣❣
Both palettes are definitely similar to one another so by all means save that money! I heard my friend Christy here on YT say that ND is doing a follow up to this palette to include green shades, so we’ll have to see about that. I was going to do a look today using both the Retro and mini and I completely forgot to use the mini lol! I’ll see what I can do with the Huda and this one!

Oh this is a pretty palette!!! I was tempted today to order (it was available on Sephora’s app to order today!)… but then I saw the sunrise and love palette were 50% off 🎉so I picked up those two instead 🙈 I have a really hard time paying full price when I know sales will eventually come!

For me I feel like this palette doesn’t give more than the looks I got out of the ND love palette. I wasn’t impressed with this one!

Nope, this really isn't for me.
Having seen a vid comparing the Huda Naughty palette with swatches side by side, I was surprised that 12 shades were very alike! So, I'll be saving my pennies and using my Huda palette.
Why on earth has she named this "Retro"? Just like the Zendo palette, this one bares no semblance to the mini palettes with the same name.
Why not call it Glam 2 (or something) instead.
I'm hoping that someday she will release a palette(s) that relate to both the Zendo and the Retro mini palettes. I love their colour stories.
Oh well, fingers crossed she releases a fantastic palette for the holidays. One that exhibits her flair, creativity and uniqueness.
I love the two looks you created, so much so that I'm going to pull out my Naughty palette and see if I can get anywhere near them.

Both palettes are definitely similar to one another so by all means save that money! I heard my friend Christy here on YT say that ND is doing a follow up to this palette to include green shades, so we’ll have to see about that. I was going to do a look today using both the Retro and mini and I completely forgot to use the mini lol! I’ll see what I can do with the Huda and this one!
