Some Chinese people online ACTUALLY speak like this so it's so interesting to see it in real life in China! I seen lots and lots in VRChat mixing Chinese and English all the time.. And it leaves many Chinese and English speakers confused!! (Me included!!)
That's because they were British colonies before, and they have different languages spoken like Malay, Hindi, various Chinese dialects etc, so English is used as a common language.
this reminded me of my friend from Malaysia. like, i mix my Chinese (sometimes hokkien-sometimes mandarin also😭😭) with Indonesian sometimes, and she mocks me with her mix of Chinese, Melayu, and English. at first i called her Cimay, but now i call her Cimeng lol😂😂
Oh god as a Cantonese speaking Chinese Canadian I would totally be embarrassed if she approached me. Wouldn't understand aword, and I'd assume she wouldn't be fluent in English. 😅
In My country. We mix Chinese and English. Its Chinglish. We all understand it. If chinglish use in china. No one understands bro. Its available at other country. The example is Malaysia and other country
Lol to be fair it's really hard not to do the accent while speaking Chinese 😂 I usually don't have an accent at all but when I speak to my parents and I throw in a random English word... The chinglish comes out 😂
THIS IS HOW I SPEAK WITH MY FAMILYY LMAO
I am Chinese and lived in the UK for over 10 years. Can confirm this is how Chinese people speak to each other here.
You understand what she's saying, but your brain is shocked from suddenly hearing English words 😂

Lmao it’s like they understood, but they didn’t 😭
在马来西亚混合不同语言沟通,是很平常的 😂
但是在中国多数地区,语言纯度较高,这种说法方式是一种冒犯。可能女孩子会让人感觉可爱,但依然不可取。
这有点interesting 让我有点想laugh 大树君please多更新点video thank 你

Not me speaking 3 languages in the same sentence ever day 😭
Today, in this era, I would encourage people to learn and speak at least 2-3 or more different languages :3
This is very common in Singapore and Malaysia Chinese society, and their languages mixture is natural, not pretend.

Perfectly normal when I visited Malaysia. They speak 3 or 4 languages and mixed together according to my good friend. Lol.
Definately not a problem if she were to speak to a Malaysian Chinese in Malaysia. We can understand and can reply in kind.
