Southampton consistently finished a couple of spots above relegation in the 90s, and would have gone down without the brilliant contributions of Matt Le Tissier. Please, don't try to compare Palmer's contributions and a team that narrowly missed out on a UCL spot, to actual relegation fodder that really did only survive because of one player. It's either very shallow, poorly thought-out analysis, or a terrible attempt at trolling.
