UN Women India, in collaboration with Gender at Work India, is striving to advance gender equality and empower young leaders in the complex socio-political landscape of India. The Feminist Youth Leadership Programme (FYLP), led by Gender at Work India and supported by UN Women India, aims to promote feminist leadership among the youth in India through research, discussions, and engagement. In its first phase, the programme has engaged 27 young leaders from 20 states and union territories of India working towards social change through collectives, NGOs, and governments. The cohort members share a common interest in issues related to leadership, representation, and the feminist movement.
