I love the idea of using silicone to frost the cakes, most people use liquid clay mix so this seems really unique to me! Great job, they look super cute :3

They will come off, but foil will be stuck to the bottom of the charm. I tried wax paper and the same thing happened. How can I keep the charms from sticking to the tray/foil or wax paper?
i use a toaster oven too! i use aluminum foil too and it works just fine, my charms never stick, maybe you bake them too long? i bake mine for 10 minutes at 275 degrees and they are always fine
Put one of the sides down on the table then when your do texturing the other side stand it up hold the top and texture...(it doesnt matter about finger tips at the top because u can just cover it with silicone or icing)
If you mix liquid glue with paint or pastels you can make the icing like that! It actually works!

American Psycho It's different depending on the clay you have. It not always the same with every brand.
I use parchment paper on top of the foil and they don't stick.
