Unfortunately the Jet Boats aren't here anymore, the owner retired and couldn't find a buyer. Another lost tourist attraction for Saint John. Just par for the course in Saint John.
There are two 'slack tides' in the tidal cycle, one a couple hours after high tide (at high tide the water is rushing up the river) and one a couple hours after low tide. Be sure of your timing...
For a travel show there are a lot of video production errors. You don't hold a lav mic like a stick mic. Jump cuts look bad. The framing in the interviews was wrong. It was way too profile. The one that was correct wasn't mic'd or lit. Your audio breaks up a lot.
they ruined a perfectly good video by saying stuff like 500 million & 1 billion yr old rocks. then say the reversing thing has only been around for 3000 yrs. sheesh. its cool to see the wildlife.. the double-breasted cormorants and other birds are a sight to watch. nevermind the rocks.. they're rocks not gold.
I went when I was 13, 22 now and its cool to learn a little more about the geology and the science behind it!
Wow... looks like a lotta fun! And your hair looks great after the jet boat ride !

If I wanted to take my boat through the reversing falls, I assume it would be best during high tide?
