Celebrating 100 Years of Creativity with Disney | adidas S.E.E.D program

Part 2 of creating magic is here as we continue to celebrate Disney’s 100 years of storytelling with #Create100. We bring you 3 incredibly talented designers from adidas S.E.E.D. (School for Experiential Education in Design) Program, a creative incubator committed to breaking down barriers and hoping to change not only the industry but the face of design.
Daziah Green, a multifaceted creator whose background in athletics inspired her journey in footwear design. She recounts her inspiration behind creating one-of-a-kind sneakers - an adidas Forum Low sneakers, inspired by Disney's Encanto. Representing the character Mirabel and her resilience, the sneakers come with customizable patches that showcase all the different members within her family.
Chandricka Carr started her journey in the design space after receiving her MS in fashion design from Drexel University. Looking back into her memories and diving deep into nostalgia, she explains her thought process into creating vintage style leather Varsity jacket with original hand printed artwork of Disney's Mickey, Donald and Goofy.
Kimmiski Adams, a former educator, a visual artist, and now a Color and Materials Designer for Adidas Basketball took a leap to join the S.E.E.D program with adidas to pursue the dream of being a designer in the footwear industry. Joining the dream team of #DisneyCreate100 with adidas, Adams has created a custom pair of sneakers designed to honor the story of Princess Tiana of Disney's Princess and the Frog.
Led by Charlie Kirihara, our lead designer, who himself created a bespoke Adidas Gazelle Vintage sneakers inspired by Disney’s Ariel; each of these unique pieces will be contributing to a bigger cause that goes beyond sports and fashion. They will be part of the Disney Create 100 auction, where all the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish®.
