The latter section in Phase 3 features the leitmotif of Jing Yuan, someone who plays a critical role in this fight. Gotta love Hoyo.
Okay I’ll admit that I’m one of the cutscene/animated shorts advocates (watch Seele, 11Ex and Meteoric Salvation next Sam it!) but Phantylia’s theme definitely needs recognition. I love how it’s sung in Dong instead of Mandarin

It's been 3 months since this boss fight was added to the game and every week I still get the same amount of excitement and satisfaction out of fighting her as the first time.

That's what I think too. But throughout the fight, and in the scene before with Tingyun, she kept talking about the blessings of Abundance, and how extravagant her form is and so on. So I'm confused as to how the Aeon of Abundance fits into the drama.
@@abhijithcpreej Because she is trying to escape Nanook's control, that's why she seek the blessing Abundance, to construct herself a perfect new body. As for why she is trying to escape Nanook, that's because she understand the path of destruction well enough, she knew that destruction path is aim to destroy everthing including its agents such as herself, even Nanook himself as well.
@@abhijithcpreej - There are so many ways you can go from there. The obvious one is Phantylia used the Amrbrosiar Arbor to sow chaos and destruction. Also, remember that some Aeons have overlapping principles. The most interesting theory that I have is Yaoshi is Nanook or somehow one of them ate the other. Overlapping principles means the stronger one shall remain. It was explained in the game.

Phantylia theme is like a very good broth, it's nothing complicated or special but it's small hints of ingredients is where it truly shines.
I am so happy that you were able to read the "mood" of the last phase. I saw a lot of people who were like "I dont like the third phase of this OST, because it does not fit Phantilia, it is too out of place, compairing to the first 2" completely forgeting, that the last phase is no longer about the boss, but about us, who fight her. And yes, I mean "forgeting" cause those people did play the game, and they know what was happening during the fight, it wasnt some random person who was doing a blind reaction.
Also, Im not sure if its worth it to make a separate video about, but I recommend to look up an ingame boss fight with Phantilia (not a story one, but a regular, to avoid spoilers), cause there are some sounds that are part of environment rather than an OST, so you cant hear them here, but these sounds bring me chills every time I fight Phantilia with headphones, so I can clearly her everything. Especially laughing. I dont remember if it is 1 or 2 phase, or maybe both, but these laughs are truly haunting.
Also saw it in the commments already but whatever: PGR OST is a must check Im telling you. There are a lot of tracks that are so good. But if pick 1, it'll be Sie liebten sich beide.
Nice, Nice! Phantylia Theme grew on me! I didn't really liked it at first because, well, I still think the Cocolia boss theme was the most epic experience music/game combo i experienced this year and when i first heard Phantylia Theme i was like "yeah, it's ok". Now i like her theme a lot!

Me too, wildfire is a really good song for a really good boss and a really good moment, that's a combo and phantylia at the start it's like well that's ok, it's really hard to beat wildfire.
But the more time passes, the better this song sounds to me, although it still doesn't beat cocolia's bossfight.
The Myriad Celestia trailers are really good, and will give you more context on the lore and world

Tbh, I love the music for all the boss fights, and I’m excited for the future, because I’m hoping we have some bangers like regression, night glow, rubia and moon Halo.
Interesting how I never noticed but especially the 2nd phase OST of this boss sounds like something taken straight out of an Indian soap opera
This boss theme is sung in Dong, the language of a chinese ethnic minority that have no written language so they put everything into hymms.
Its one of my favorites together with Samudratha wich is such a relaxing song.
As for suggestions, honestly at this point any Honkai song or video is fine by me, but maybe u should check out some of the current version trailer or the battlesuit preview(s) they did release one for the upcoming Lunar Vow battlesuit, its a Vampire maiden!

Phantylia is one of many demi gods that are in the legion of destruction which is run by one of the aeons named nanook who is the aeon of destruction who is the main antagonist. Phantylia is one of the commanders of the destructions army and shes theorized to be one of the weakest but literally one of her attacks is destroying an entire moon/planet and that says things about what nanooks army is capable of.

I'd love to see your reaction of the live version of Astalgia Of Phantasm (Brelshaza boss theme) from Lost Ark. It's not a well known game in West, but is a masterpiece in my opinion
The first phase is more like fighting against a god...the later form is more like fighting against all odds.
This is pretty much everything like the Cocolia theme but with a more Chinese mythology god theme while Cocolia is more Chivalrous Knight fighting a dragon

heck yeah phantylia. she's a boss who's this huge beautiful lady you have to beat up as a dragon lmao. it's a fun fight, though i had to redo it twice because i was underleveled and she somehow took out my healer the first two times. i'm really a sucker for the 3rd phase of the song because the bits of xianzhou motif (the strings) hold my heart hostage. but hoyo-mix just managed to get all the beats to hit just right. it's a beautiful theme.

The awesome part of Phantylia the Undying's boss theme is that you can almost hear the main characters and the boss fighting. The acoustic instruments represent your characters and the electronic instruments represent the boss.
Would love to see more Honkai Impact reactions maybe even "Introducing the honkai-verse" if you’re confused and maybe check out PGR and some more of Arknights those two are less popular but best gacha ost imo along with Honkai Impact
Phantylia (Pronounced Phan-til-lia) is a Lord Ravager which are essentially beings with the power to destroy planets. She serves the Aeon of Destruction Nanook who is basically the God of Destruction. And yes she is absolutely huge when you fight her

She is the Emanator (a VERY powerful person) of Destruction path, and here she has not only Destruction powers, but also Abundance powers due to some (spoiler) events. So she has 3 phases - Abundance, Destruction and Final phase with both paths combined. Just a quick reminder to better understand what's going on

Massive OST recommendation is the Naruto osts "Hyouhaku + Kokuten." It's 2 osts but they flow into one another and are both for the character you call "ice guy." I think it will be one of the most unique reactions and the osts are bangers

Phantylia (Fan-Till-EE-Ah) is the third major boss in the game and shes themed around corruption and manipulation. during her different phases she switches between wielding the powers of the abundance (healing), destruction (big dmg), and both at the same time. she also has an incredible voice actress whos name i cannot remember off the top of my head. other than her and Tingyun (tee-ng-you-nn) the Lofu section of the game has been kinda mid.
Good boss theme song is so good i rather play it while doing the other bosses to vibe to it with my characters built!!!

I know you seem to enjoy playing genshin and Honkai star rail is turn based by hoyoverse as well. If you want to start playing it id say now is as good as a time as any as 1.4 update is coming out and the rerun banners are starting to so you will have the chance to get characters that came out when the game launched from this point forward. So technically you wouldn't be missing any significant characters bc of the reruns

There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!
