Crossing the Great White Place - Etosha

Part one of a journey West to East across Etosha in August/September 2012. This section covers the waterholes in the Western Park of the Park seen whilst we were based at the new camp at Dolomite Point. It is a guide to what the main water holes look like from a photographic perspective as well as highlighting the variety of wildlife in this area. Close ups of Elephants and Giraffe are included along with a serious fight between Zebra stallions. Parts two and three will cover the rst of the journey in due course.

Hi Gerry -- congratulations on another spectacular video! Don and I watched it and were once again so impressed by your excellent video and narrative skills. Obviously, the camp you mentioned wasn't there when we visited Namibia back in 1999, so it was nice to hear that there are areas now accessible that previously weren't. Loved the view of that warthog dwarfed by the elephant herd, the bull elephant splashing water and the zebras fighting. We're eager to see parts 2 and 3! Thanks so much!!!

Terrific video and narrative. As we will be visiting Etosha next April, starting with a few days at Dolomite Camp, we certainly appreciate the wonderful preview. It will help us plan our daily schedules ,photography and all-round game viewing!

Really a fantastic video, thank you for sharing 👍🏾 - The sound is very good, no noise of the wind, but nice sounds of the animals and a clear voice. What equipment did you use, especially what camera and microfone? Kind regards, Henning
