I have one of these. Mine has the cedar top, LR Baggs Anthem, and I think I might have had the first one in Canada. I couldn't love it more! I'm not a good enough player to deserve it, but I love it so much.
Hello, love your very informative videos. Curious to know if you had to choose between Furch yellow deluxe or a Yamaha fg5 which would you buy ? This is the dilemma I’m facing now and I don’t have any access to a furch guitar . Any advice would be much appreciated .
Dowina guitars would be a more value for your money and quality top notch of a custom hand made guitar in Europe / Slovakia. I have one and it's amazing. Very similar to Furch but different. Better prices. I feel Furch used to be affordable but now it becomes more and more similar in price to the Taylor.
@@reydelagarza2953 Good point, Dowina Cabernet would be something similar, but not indentical. It lacks the bevels and it's a different Scale length. Indeed Furch is superior in some aspects with this model. Feel wise, Furch are a bit on the heavy side and the scale length is always longer than Dowina. So you get a more intimate feel and boutique feel with Dowina. Since they're a small maker, they say they can make you on order whatever you please, for not so much money. So they might be able to make a beveled guitar also.
Wow! This Yellow Deluxe "Foork" (roll the 'r' like a Scotsman, Sean Connery f'r instance) is gone! It sounds good though, and I will look to see if Chris posted a video on the blue series. ua-cam.com/video/I0A1o1RPUnI/v-deo.html
In Chech the u is pronounced as oo, the ch is pronounced as in Loch Ness and the r rolls like scots english. As for other languages, pronounce it however you like.
Does anyone have an idea on playability vs. Furch and Taylor??? I know Taylor’s have playability dialed in very nicely, but I prefer the tone from Furch guitars personally.
We’re in the same boat. I’m in the market and I have narrowed it down to Furch and Taylor. I wouldn’t say money is no object, but I think I’d be willing to spend for a 914CE. But I totally agree with you….i like the Furch sound better. The problem is I’ve never played one. And I have played Taylor, and I know for sure they are very comfortable to play. But if Furch is anywhere close to Taylor comfort, it will be no contest.
I have a 314ce and Furch Pure Red D-LR... Love the sound of my Furch sooo much better (by a mile) but the Taylor fretboard is easier to play for fingerstyle. Furch still plays great along the neck but Taylor has somehow managed to master the neck/fretboard imo.
As a Taylor player/fan of 25yrs, just try a Furch. They’re totally incredible. You can’t get the tone through headphones or speakers. Ordered my Furch today. 🇬🇧👏👌
Chris, love your work!
Thank you for reviewing all these amazing instruments. I learned a lot watching your channel ❤
I love it’s sound. Not too bright or brassy.
Wow... Listen to the resonance! The body of sound is pure quality of the highest order and appears comfortable to hold!
Thank you Chris. Excellent video. I’m still learning which model would work for me.

The finest production made guitars in the world. I am a proud owner of a 6 and 12 string and cannot put them down.
Chris I’d love the tabs to these demos!! Where are they ?!?
Great review. Your playing is so beautiful, Chris. Thank you.

I'm waiting mine in 6 long days, exactly the same,I keep looping that video since a week, you'll notice many views from Italy 😂
I’m looking forward to getting mine. 12wk wait 😮👌🎸👏
Are there any tone wood combos that sound better for half step down tuning. ?
I have the same guitar with a cedar top and it sounds amazing half step down. A little darker and warmer. It sounds absolutely bonkers in drop D.
Thanks for asking this question!
They're everything a Taylor should be. (I've owned both)
They are richer & mellower than Taylors. (And less expensive.). They unfortunately have very thick, chunky necks, though.
Looks like a Taylor 914ce without the jewelry
Fortunately, it sounds better!

But you get way more value from Furch than you do from a Taylor. This guitar is up there with a Taylor 814, but it's like $2000 cheaper
which Dowina model is comparable to the yellow deluxe here?

i know right, furch used to be affordable, nowadays, its not much different from taylor that's very sad
triple DD moobs : )
Beautiful guitar and played beautifully. Seems to be missing some zipity do-da though.

It still doesn’t sound like Cooper’s custom!
Almost like it isn't a custom hm 🤔
Moobies lol
I thought it was pronounced Furk?

Correct
I want to love it, but it sounds somewhat muted.

Furchs are less expensive, and sound warmer, mellower, richer. The downside is the necks are far chunkier (not personally a fan of Furch necks!).

I own the yellow car
I'm disappointed in the sound, the lows are muddy and muted while the high have no sustain. But I do like the beveled out appointment for comfort.
Too boomy for my taste. It’s like a hollowed out boomy thing … YEs I know the guitar is hollow lol but I don’t know how else to explain it
Yeah I’ll take a Taylor vs this one sorry Furch
No way. Taylor's are shit.
