Yesssss
favorite version of down in the valley hands down, just incredible
I don't think I'll ever get tired of listening to them. Ever.
Great, great session. I wrote my thesis 12 years ago listening to this videos every day, every hour. Thank you so much.
I was the dude in the brown sweatshirt with a coffee mug standing in the middle of the crowd. (7:45-7:55) It was a truly beautiful festival that I was, and still am, lucky to have been able to attend. Met Kenny on the beach while skipping rocks, really cool guy. I hope I'll get to see these guys again soon!
Where was it?
So jealous! :)
Just can't stop listening to these guys! The Doe Bay Sessions are so real! Thanx H&H.
I love how all of their friends, many of them most likely oblivious to the lyrics of the song, were able to join in with the singing as if they all helped in writing it; and also how they were able to make music out of what nature so graciously surrounded them with, and made it work. That is music.
Pre-millenium I lived and worked at Doe Bay. This video brings back good memories❤
I heard this for the first time two hours ago. It has been on repeat since.
Just saw the Head and the Heart in DC a few nights ago...one of the best live gigs ever xxx
I keep watching this, wish I could have been there.
Cannot get enough of this band! :D
Just too flipping awesome!
great band, beautiful scenery, amazing day, amazing life.
Seriously??!! This is way too awesome!
I got the feels......
Would have been timeless to witness this...
Damn these new songs are awesome. First heard them live at my show in Dallas, great show!
You don't understand how desperate I am to see these people live. Not on a stage with amps etc, but like this. Hopefully one day.
I saw them at bonnaroo in 2017 it was awesome bro
Dominus they do acoustic shows! All in their element
I couldn’t agree more
Oh I do I DO UNDERSTAND
Good vibes bros been a long road
Honestly, could there be anything better then this?
the first is 'no one to let you down' the second is 'down in the valley'
Who ! Love you world
These are the places I will always go.... Sigh :-)
Dude in the purple shirt plays a pretty mean stick in the mud at the end... nice
Literally.
Jeremiah Hayden of Modern Kin....
that guys voice is awesome
So true that this is the one thing that I think about
Thee Best !!! All i have to say !!
This band............wow
just one of those bands... (:
this is amazing
love
Good music. Thats the only classification you need.
August 16th is my Birthday. Couldn't ask for a better present.
So good
First! And I just love me some TH&TH, they are Seattle's finest :)
I don't think in the doe bay sessions they're focusing solely on harmonizing. They're playing music out in the open, full spirits, with all their heart. Just letting it all out.
wishing to hear a solo of that rock smashing thing
Haha the "yeah-yaahh" at the end!
Down in the Valley
los mejores
Good!
chills @ 7:22
Josiah 🥺
He’s back!!
That's my crabbing spot!
does anyone know the name of this song? it's new. not on the EP.
What are they all looking at? And just how expensive are their sunglasses?
i liked these guys 3 years ago before they sold out
@EHFuhr No one to let you down
can someone tell me the names of those songs, plz?
Does anyone know what guitar he uses here?
This is why people should love hipsters. They make music out of dirt at 6:45.
what's the name of the first song???
whats the first song called?
it is folk americana, brother.
on what fucking planet is that night?
Okay, honest question.
Was this video filmed on shrooms?
"I Wear My Sunglasses At Night" by Corey Hart. That's why.
lol love all the hipsters gettin down
8:05
@whatthecarlos
"Legalize Gay"
Legalize Ohhhh, Ohhhhh, Ohhhhh
the people in the back round look soo angry
Man, Jeff Goldblum has a hell of a voice
Love it.... so good. We have a cover of down in the valley up on our channel with some originals, check it out!
U Jelly?
Because we smoke alot of weed
good for you. want a cookie?
i think indie, folk and now a days people probably call it classical guitar or something
i don't understand why americans have to wear sunglasses even it's night time..?
hmm maybe, but in 'down in the valley' she just really annoys me. I mean come on, she has done this song before
Saw them back in 2012. They sang this at sunset, still one of my favorite concerts i've ever witnessed.
so good
@EHFuhr No one to let you down
Jon Russell and Josiah Johnson ft. Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites would form the greatest indie folk band
Literally at my desk with tears in my eyes...Wish I was there harmonizing with you guys, how wonderful!!!
Best thing about surfing UA-cam, stumbling upon cool shit like this.
They need a campfire to dance around once the sun is gone....Unless the moon shines her smile upon them.. :-).. This is very spiritual . A coming together, a worship of the hearts in the circle. Music is powerful. A pure wavelength form of energy that can weave and braid itself around many present energys bringing them together in harmonic concert FOR A TIME. Thanks for capturing it for us. Bravo
This is what I listen to every time I need a moment of release.
At 1:28!!! It kills me when he said run! Ugh! I love them!
"...too bad she sucks..." Are you kidding. Pay attention to how on some of the songs her voice rises beyond the harmony of the other and bringing to the tune a nice contrast. I'd suggest that her bit of the songs are an integral part of what adds the variety to their tunes. It just works.
Sweet sounds, their music really resonates w/me.
This song is so peaceful. Its crazy how beautiful their vocals are and they still not that famous.
+Kenza Lazaar They still have gotten big enough for people to recognize them outside of Seattle and since they don't have a ton of fame there is hardly any negativity about them so I think they're in a good place.
+Astral Activity yeah you are right but i was just thinking they really deserve to be hella famous
@@ken.l4609 Don't worry they made it.
I love the crack in his voice when he sings "but boy, please don't run"
"dont make no difference if you sit or you stand"
yeah it does i sit when i wee
Oh man..... Really?
Truly one of the most beautiful pieces of art I have come across.
Sometimes we all need someone to hold onto.
always
Down in the valley really touched me deeply. This was so amazing. Almost cried. They're great!
Quinn... Looks like a Larrivee. Awesome guitars.
I was wondering the same thing and i noticed at 6:38 they had a microphone hooked up
I just discoverd this great band of real people. Cant get enough.
Bonnaroooooo!
Love, love, love. The Head and the Heart make me so damn happy.
"Down in the Valley"... Such a great song, one of my favorites. :->
@Arthbox I guess it's excusable here because its right at dusk
0:09 no one to let you down 3:17 down in the valley
Thanks 🙏 a lot. I was looking for the name of this beautiful song.
I found it is part of a Soundtrack (I wish I was here).
i like to hear but not to see them. too much coolness...
This made me smile.
What's the name of the second song?
Rain Wilson is diggin it at 4:10
