Huggy is a living creature. When he falls at the end he splatters blood. Also when he’s standing on display if you stand still and watch him you can see he’s breathing. It’s truly terrifying
well now it provides more evidence that these toys are demon creatures.

L O RE T A L K and maybe slight spoilers ( i wanna continue on your thing of huggy wuggy being alive and talking about the chunks of lore we have now)
take it further and the last tape and a death message ("Exp. 1006, Isn't he wonderful?") portrays huggy wuggy as experiment 1006, and that there was most likely human experimentation( i'll get back to that), "one breakthrough and i'll be back" on that tape shows they've been experimenting with souls and humans for maybe revenue or truely "lifelike" toys. i think superhorrorbro's theory of poppy playtime controlling everything is spot on with the lore (you can check it out to see just what i mean, if you wanted to), and those pictures that fusion found might be people taken or experimented on, turned into the toys. the blue scribbled out pic might be who huggy wuggy was, and the red maybe the dinosaur or the pink version of huggy. anyways i just wanted to continue on your thought. The one piece of info i don't know much about is a death message that's in some kind of scrambled letters leading to a code, but i havent reasearched much into it yet. sorry for the long paragraph i just really like lore -w-
Edit: I just found out it's a unicode shifted cipher, and reads "stay, they need help".

Speaking of the scrambled words, i tried to google translate them and from what i remember, it had hints of Corsican, English, Portuguese, Hindi, Vietnamese, Hausa, Scots Gaelic, and Romanian dialect. I just don't know if they mean something from one, or even all of these, if they're just scrambled letters, or if they mean nothing at all (tbf though like i said its google translate so take it with a grain of salt).
I did notice though that they vaguely spelt out "Evan". I wonder who he is and his significance.
That explains why poppy could talk to children its another child named poppy who is posessing the doll

I kinda forgot how to hug people
So to explain the random floating items (Cant be 100% sure as I'm not the dev, but its a tactic that we used in game dev classes)
So you place items within the void for easy swapping. For instance, lets say you have pictures to swap in and out, you can either overlap them with one being invisible and uninteractable, but sometimes the engine freaks out. So you place them in the void and when the trigger hits they swap places with where they will go. Depending on the engine those items probably wont be rendered while the player plays the game, but the triggers can still grab and swap them as needed.
Alternatively if you are going to use an item a lot you can place a reference item within the void that you can quickly grab, copy and move to where it needs to be. This is mostly used when the engine your using doesn't have a good item storage system that you can copy and pull into the level from, or when you dont want to have to rotate an object into the correct alignment hundreds of times. (we had a stage in our final game that had like forty items in the void all in different angles so we could quickly copy and paste them)
You can do the same thing with models, posing them as needed and moving them to where they will wind up. Even entities (like moving actors or intreractable items) but these rarely remain within the void since some engines start to freak out when an entity is active within the void.

He's in multiple places in the vents to create the illusion of Huggy catching up and closing the distance pretty quickly. Or it might be possible that there are multiple versions of him.

@@ceoofsonik7568 It's a good way to save time and keeping up the suspense of the chase sequence. The programmer could've done other ways to make the same effect like speeding up Huggy when he's out of view or take the time to make the maze bigger so Huggy can take shortcuts to overtake you but making multiple entities to make it so that Huggy is literally right behind you was a good choice.
Or there might actually be multiple Huggys in this game is what makes this finding even scarier. A mass produced toy monster.

Huggy probably stays stuck when he gets stuck due to prevention of glitches. And so you dont have like 3 huggies chasing you in the vent when you activate them all.

U gotta give the maker of this credit for details I love how even when u glitch through to places where only a part of huggy is there. The developers could've been lazy and just had his arm or head but no they put all of Huggy Wuggy's body in that vent and hiding behind that wall so I just wanted to say good job on them.
I think because they have the model they won't waste time recreating the limbs

I hope the developers patch Huggy Wuggy freezing in place once the complete game is released, as that would be both immersive and terrifying to see Huggy chase after you and climb over barriers to capture you.
i think it would be cool if chapter 2 had this maze section that has poppy directing you around and huggy trying to kill you by dropping from the ceiling
i love how they decorated the outside they knew some people with play around with that finding lore and stuff
When he comes from the darkness you can actually stay in the little hallway because him revealing himself and walking over and ducking under the doorway is the same animation, so he can't kill you until he finishes the animation

So, towards the end, when you were flying around in the area where Huggy fell, it looked like there was a shadowy figure in one of the doorways leading off from the area. It looked a bit like Huggy, maybe, but it went by quick.

Here’s a suggestion from me: could you play the game called The Room sometime? It’s cheap and short, and it needs to be more recognized because it’s amazing
That converyor Huggy was on btw also led over to the area you end up going up and over to as well, so they made doubly sure that each of these area's actually connect to one another and the like, which is really creepy but also cool and forward thinking.

He'd probably disappear afterwards, most game devs would program the model to disappear if they're not in the player's point of view.

Huggy Wuggy introducing the series is a bit of a double-edged sword. He's a fantastic introduction, but now he'll be hard to top when they introduce more characters and scares later. The devs might have played their hand a bit too early with him. Though, it could also just be the tip of the iceberg and they've only shown a fraction of their talent... I sure hope it's the latter.
This is my top favorite for 2021 it’s so good and it has such amazing quality! This is a crazy video too!

Quick question about Huggy Wuggy's starting area! Are you able to go back to that room after getting the right hand and opening that other door? Or do the doors close behind you? If they do close...could you block them with a prop?

Most likely the photos under the map are what you call, "Dev Boxes" a part to hold a script for some sort of event, and they probably decided to texture the Dev boxes like scribbled out photos. If this isn't the case then it's an easter egg made for people looking at the outer map.
