- Here's a showcase of the final endpoint to my Toxic Rain into Caustic Arrow league starter. This league proved especially difficult for my build, as it is tailored for the game balanced around T16's with a generic difficulty level. The power scaling presented here is more than enough to handle such maps, but with wisps entering the equation, it no longer is (even on super wisp-juiced T7's). For that reason, I will now be making the swap to the strongest magic find build in the game, Tornado Shot. Stay tuned for that one.

Yo snoo! Thanks for the vids. I tried out T7 wandering path and I’m super stoked with the results. My build lacked damage for deli/wisp t16. But it’s doing great in T7. I got 50 div first day of it and haven’t even liquidated dump tab 😂
You cannot run Abyss and Strongbox at the same time, especially in Cemetery.
When the map is generated (after you click the button on the map device), the server creates an instance where it preemptively calculate what object goes where. PoE uses a standard packing algorithm to "fit" in blocks of content in the map and each content has a different block size to it. Some content has multiple smaller individual blocks to plot per content (eg. strongbox), in which if they "don't fit" the server would just not spawn a few. And some content has multiple large blocks to plot (eg. Abyss), in which if they don't fit, it would despawn the entire block of Abyss occurrence. The only exception to this is breach and harvest (which ignores it's maximum size and uses a single small block).
The problem with your setup is that Abyss, contrary to what people believe, require a huge area to plot. The server does not calculate where to place that tiny green hole on the ground, the server calculates the ENTIRE huge/long path of the Abyss to plot into the map. And since you have a bunch of strongboxes taking up space, well, it just decides that there's no other place where the Abyss path would fit into the map.
Yep exactly, and having Blight randomly roll really didn't help either. Cemetery is still worth because of the div card, but it's a small map and this is just gonna happen sometimes when you try to put that much abyss on there.

In his setup, what would you replace strongbox with to not congest the map as much?
I would think ritual would be the best option to remove wouldn’t it? Feel like it never drops anything and I don’t want to take the time to look at the stuff in the ritual shop either

Thank you, I've been having all of the same problems, and I thought I was scuffing something. And even worse, my game crashes a lot when spires start spawning. It's aggravating because I can barely afford the scarabs and sextant, just to lose it for no reason.

Zizaran and Steelmage had a HPYOTHESIS that there are a limited number of spawn points for content (which doesn't care about meters of space in the map). If the map runs out of spawn points before it places all the content then the rest of the content gets lost.

It happens to me too and I use same strat you do in this video. However I still get 3 or 4 abyss using strongbox but it does happen when i only get one
struggling with mana regeneration, followed your POB to the tee. I'm lvl 89 and my mana regen is only 22.9/s. is there something I'm missing here? it's the only thing preventing me from using CA effectively
Been having the same issues with Abyss, unlike the other person said about strongboxes and abyss, i do NOT run strongboxes. My best guess is that much like Shrines, Abysses may spawn in the new mec, however i havent seen a single person show thats the case.
However i do believe if abyss spawns inside the mec that it might just get voided and thats it

Is there any way to automate the use of divination distilate?
I'm mostly using CA with Death Oath Occultists but might try something faster and evasion focused...

For someone wanting to get into mf, without experience is this a viable build, if i were to follow the PoB from start of endgame. Try MF with lower juice. And what would the minimum budget be?

hey mate, I love the vid and build but how do we get to this point? what strats do you use so you can afford to buy the mf gear to then gain more etc etc? at what point are we able to handle these t7 abyss runs? how strong do we need to be? thanks in advance mate.
I used the league atlas progression wandering path strat into wandering path exarch altars to farm my first 5-10 divines.
How would you say this compares to Fulcrum MF? It’s very tanky, and I got it pretty fast w/ a mageblood, and 64/320 iiq/iir, but I’ve noticed a problem of leaving too many packs of 2-3 monsters or a few tanky rares that won’t die if I miss them with an explosion. Does this run into similar issues when clearing? Each burial chambers run w/ abyss/strongbox takes me 8-13 minutes to run, depending on how juicy it is, and the juiciest maps still end up using many portals despite how tanky I’ve made it.
Hmmm I'm hoping someone else might chime in who has done both builds? I haven't looked into the fulcrum thing enough to know. This build is actually capable of some single target if need be. Just not the greatest at it.

Jesus christ ofcourse is making money yet me and my buddy both run 32 maps each, 64 total and we both didnt even break even with prices of sextants and scarabs unless selling all cemetary maps/gemcutters lmao
I’ve always stayed away from MF since I hear it’s really expensive..It’s my second league this league, but I really want to try it now. I’ll start with the two divine I have, and hopefully I’ll be able to do it. I’ve never had a mageblood or headhunter, or anything mirror-related.
Tbh, this league is pretty challenging for running a lot of mf and still rewarding with a little. A lot of people are going like semi mf, so prolly just the boots and maybe vsntors and you could be good to go

@@givemeheadpats2431 prolly I wouldn't do that cos the rings range is so big, the chances of a good one coming out is pretty low tbh. Found like 30 yesterday and maybe got one half decent one

I like this build. Finally an mf char , witch is using a good amount of mf gear, but not running on 3k life with petrified blood. Really bice one. Im gonna make my +4 armor and change my toxic rain to this one
I was running mf caustic arrow toxic rain in crucible. 70 quantity 474 rarity. Was farming crimson temple. Was clearing it without an issue. Toxic rain was only needed for juicy mobs and even then it wasn't taking more than few seconds. However when I played the build there was barely anyone playing it at the time. Now it will be way more visible due to this video :)

@@koraygure6179 because it was mf build with broken neck annoint. Very low budget, high in mf quant rarity but lacked single target for thicker mobs. So solution was to put toxic rain as semi single target/debuff playing 2 6L and bow had another +1L so basically 7L+6L. It was crucible league.

I can't recall the number I used before. But any number I use will immediately be bought up and overpriced :( You'll have to search for a good one on your own, I'm afraid.
Snoo, does the hit/chaos damage of the bow scale the damage of toxic rain and caustic arrow?
No, not for those two skill. That’s why Quill Rain is good for TR.
Just FYi the t7 strat is great, but not necessary. If you can run higher tier maps you will find them WAY more profitable -- we were doing t11 burials (now t14... hoping to hit t16 soon), and the difference in loot is insane. Depths are more rare than I expected so you almost always get spires still BUT you get the bonus of higher tier loot + valdo's puzzle box (think it has to be t11+ for these to drop afaik) + doctor drops. After running both for a while I'm very confident that t11s are a LOT better. If you can run t16s you can also get altars, but they are absurdly hard so idk.
Just fyi if you do higher maps without groupplay and/or high-end gear you die. Btw groupplay sucks ass its like cheating
How do you sustain t11’s? I’ve been taking out 3 void stones to sustain t7’s. Getting a little bit bored of cemetery and want to give burial a go
Hey man trying to follow your build im a big noob. How do you get 5 green sockets on a greeds embrace? Seems like its impossible. After work planning on learning how to use viricio to make white sockets but you dont even have any white sockets. Howd you do that?

Even tho the price has never been that crazy would you fit a progenesis in the build ? i feel like it would greatly help with sustain against to crazy juiced mobs

So with the new charms they added there is a charm all damage can ignite. And with the new quality i have a 23% so that's 23% wither chance on PC, And i was wondering if Blackflame ring would be a worth while take just for those stack of wither never falling off the target. I'm playing As Assassin so Crit based PC, making all my damage ignite i don't need to worry about ignite chance. So yeah that's my thought. Your like my go to when it comes to this skill. My build feels great until you talk about flask sustain 😑
blood rage feels kinda bad to use, when you don't have that endurance node. Is there any alternative?
Indeed. I would perhaps just skip out on blood rage. You could drop malevolence for a frenzy manaforge setup, but that’s some serious DPS loss.
@@snoobae8553 ty for replying. I got a a hubris for cheap that has the Life recovery from regen is not applied, but to get to the gain 1 endurance charge every second id have to use like 10 skills points. guess it kinda works without it.

im not seeing how you are ailment immune in the pob, i see you have stormshroud but not seeing how you have shock avoidance to become fully ailment immune? or im missing something?

pobb.in/nkVX5sydENPW best I got is this, which was my Day 1 into Day 2 pob at level 84. I wasn't trying to Magic Find yet at that time. Was still doing exarch altar WP farming no investment.
So i ditched my rarity gem and started using swift affliction. This made a massive difference. I also started using defiance of destiny for better defence. Thanks for your link.
New gem Caustic Arrow of Poison is much better or no?
It's a new gem and a different build than this one. I did traditional CA here.

How in the world are you getting 446 rarity? I have very similar gear I feel like and only 225ish. I am missing the craft on the helmet and not using tinctures is the only main difference I can see..
There's a lot extra coming from all that increased flask effect, the pathfinder ascendancy, and Tincture of course.
Hi, noob here, great guide but I think I’m doing something wrong, I’m not levelled up enough for awakened gems yet but when I have focused ballista and ballista totem linked to my toxic rain, I cannot use the toxic rain gem, so my ballistas aren’t doing their thing. I’m sure it’s something daft I’m not seeing. Any help would be great
Gems linked to focus ballista only fire when a seperate skill is self cast
I know but the guide only uses Vaal caustic and toxic rain, can’t use toxic whilst linked to fb and caustic is only available when charged
@shiftyscouser4011 Isn't it just a case of normal CA proccing the TR totems then? Vaal skills are just for bursting usually
For those looking, budget is ~100 div + a headhunter.
You can start the build with couple of divs. Farm currency like normal MF and then upgrade to this crazy strat, when you have currency and upgrade the gear.
please im struggling with berserk in this build and you never explained or i missed it, it requires 159 strength to equip yet you have 115 and I have 110 (lower level) - how did u put it into ur build?
Elegant Hubris of Caspiro unlocks Supreme Ostentation keystone, removing all attribute requirements.

My regex was pretty light. Mainly kept off just recovery options. No regen, less recovery, and also no chaos resistance

Weapon swap Sinvictis axe during dot damage allows kills to be made with a weapon I don’t deal any damage with.
Hey man. Just sank 15 divines into this build. Follow almost everything through the POB, currently level 93 but I cannot kill the tier 7 rares, any idea's what I could be doing wrong.

Would you still recommend this build if my budget is only 25-30 divs? I imagine that might not be enough to do Tornado Shot instead. What would be the best MF option for my starting budget?
Why not do tunas Fulcrum build at that budget?
@@basedcringe9000 Fulcrums keeps getting more expensive. I would have to spend my entire budget just to buy that staff.
Knowing what I know now, I'd probably just go straight into Tornado Shot. But it would be easier to setup viably than Tornado Shot on that budget at least.

@@BabyImSelfish What I mean is the league mechanic made monsters so tanky that my caustic arrow build (even scaled up) isn't really doing enough damage to them at high levels of juice. This would not be the case most leagues.
Is Lightning Arrow Deadeye also as viable as this for Magic Find?
Yeah, definitely
I started LA Deadeye and did some MF with it. Then I switched to Tshot with the exact same tree and 1 or 2 diff gems and it was just straight up better. Even with only 5 arrows
Tried both out, and I liked CA slightly better. Whilst TS is more effective and faster at clearing, it lacks the sustain that CA has. Of course, you can sacrifice certain passives / gems to spec more into sustain, but CA will always out-sustain LA/TS. Comparing them both, CA actually had better efficiency (at my level of gear for both characters) due to the fact that it was dying less.
But I must mention that if you enjoy LA’s gameplay, you should just stick to it even if you’re less efficient. I spent a day on my CA magic finding and the whole time I was just itching to go back to TS.
Thank you guys. Just asking for my friend, he feels his LA build is very squishy but I say its because he face tanks a lot. Maybe switching to PA will do him better.

Primary damage increase is in +skill level to primary gem, followed by damage over time multiplier, followed by %damage increases.
Whats the budget of this build?
My build here was pretty min maxed at the time. I think it was around 200-300div

Yeah mention somewhere in there that Mageblood seems more suitable for the build, but this league being what it is, people want the HH defense.

Fubgun popularized CA MF last league when it was off everyone’s radar. So I wasn’t even aware of its performance potential on this budget until then. My primary motivation for this build was around the 5-10div budget however. When it was still Toxic Rain MF build, someone at least I’ve never seen or done before.
