it's not about sorcery, its by his GOD given talent from Above, that makes him!!! "TAZ" is Extremely Gifted, very special talented creative musician!!! We will hear from him all over the World!!!
or ya know, dedication, because thats what it really is at the end of the day, theres no god given talent, just extremely hard workers that get to virtuostic levels from pure love and dedication to the craft
I was his original guitar teacher from the time he was 8 years old. I taught him all the rules of rock and jamming. I put him in his very first rock show Rock and Roll University at Theatre Three ..And by the way, I hate to say it, but if he hasn't made it. By now you're right, he shouldn't Leave this day job. Everyone thought and I would've almost bet my boots that he was gonna make it at the time. Now he is 21and still a festival rat but that has to do with his managemeant, who are his parents and a band he's been hanging on too for over 5 years. Let's face it he's hit his peak already and while he has a few yearly gigs. . I believe he's studying law at Yale University so so he can write rock and roll contracts if he wants to. But a big record deal with hit songs and a cool band of youngsters?..i don't thikn so..And his writing capabilities are extremely limited to the same blue z riff and the same vocal lines in his songs. Believe me i had high hopes..check youtube for rock and roll university at citifield which i produced..and by the way where is his brother Dylan?
For those who are fascinated by the sorcery of elite-level guitarists: Just watch his left hand. I am a guitarist of plentiful enthusiasm but limited talent. Moreover, I live on the other side of the world and I've never heard of Taz Niederauer. I'm no expert, yet this player's skill became apparent within 15 seconds of watching his fretting hand.
Well, let's not compare Tazzy to Prince. Prince played 27 instruments and had 5 albums that he played ALL the instruments by the age of 22. Both Prince's parents were musicians. I AM SURE that Prince admires Taz. But Taz needs to break away from the Allman Brothers entourage and establish HIS brand. He should check Willow Smith another young genius.
He's good, but Eric Johnson has been done. His tone is again good, but nothing special since Eric already did it all. The question is... can he write? His voice is just OK, which can be very limiting. Probably a really nice kid but definitely keep your day-job dude. I say this out of respect. Here in Atlanta, we have a lot of local guitarists who are every bit as good, and better with incredible singing talent too, but not as known or caring to be known.
Been listening to him for a couple years, very soulful playing, voice is not tortured enough yet but his playing is. Lesson to all the guitar geeks out there who play Strandbergs and shred 30 notes per second and thumb never comes over the top and never bend a string, 99% of the people won't listen to 20 seconds of your playing but will watch this for hours.
That tone is EVERYTHING you would ever need!☺
I fully expect this Kid to become a Guitar Legend.
Hell yeah!
he won't
He is well on his way. He was killing it when he was 10 at B.B. Kings! He has played with all the greats including B.B. King!
Woah
His voice changed so much from the last time I saw him
So good!
Great!

Taz is going to be a force of Nature in the music world for decades.
Ok. We’re holding our collective breath. Lol
He’s got some Neal Schon flowing through his playing. Love it
Mamma mia. He is talking with his guitar. There is nothing in between, pure soul.
Beautiful progression
How is this kid so good?! I mean, holy cow. I can listen to him all day. Can't wait for a full album!
Fact that he has a great voice is a massive potential
Came here after watched him playing with Cory Wong. What a talent!

Nice to see a Long Isand kid tearing it up!
The kid is a fella and he is on The right path , but it’s big boys rules now and the competition is strong !!! 💪
I didn’t know that guitar had a wiggle stick. I want to try one.
Let's go Brandon
Is anyone else picking up the “In memory of Elisabeth Reed” vibe?
That classic southern style jam band sound. Allmans, Tedeschi trucks, and the like
INDEED, LOTS OF ALLMAN BROS INFLUENCE.....@@boldfaith765

His guitar work is more advanced than Prince right now, wait till he really gets dialed in !!!

@@adiaha22 Talking guitar playing that's it so you can get off of your knees before the purple altar for a minute ! 😂
@@adiaha22 Which 27 instruments did he play ? 😂
Dude taking pictures had his head in the way most of the song. Down in front dude.
Not a little kid anymore.
