A lot of these "ghostly shadow" videos are easily explained by the fact that the tapes are often reused and recorded over. So the shadow you see is actually someone from a previous recording in the same spot.

CAT not if you are a parent, I hope. It is automatic to protect your children before thinking of yourself in these situations. There are certainly exceptions to that rule, but that is what all good parents would do for their children. That is why they have to tell parents to put the oxygen masks on themselves before helping their children. The automatic thing to do would be to help your children first, which risks you passing out, which leaves no one being helped.

The "ghost" CCD footage is invariably due to the repeated use of video tape which retains a bit of data when the erase head gets dirty or weak.

I think that orb on #7 in Singapore is a laser pointer. I have a near UV laser pointer that is not only blindingly bright, but depending on the background it shines on, it can change from a bright iridescent blue if it strikes something that is fluorescent (many dyes in paint can cause fluorescence when hit by UV) to a dull almost grey color when it hits something dark or more absorbent like a dark wallpaper. The way it moves around and climbed the wall looks exactly like mine and it doesn't spread out like a flashlight does. The blue/UV pointer I have has a larger projection dot than those cheap red pointers you can get and I could recreate that orb perfectly with my pointer.
