Seeking Sanctuary Worship Preview

This Sunday we’ll light all four Advent candles, and hear Bible stories about Mary, the mother of Jesus. Pregnant and unmarried, Mary sought sanctuary-that is safety, home--with her relative Elizabeth. Later she sought sanctuary in a stable, and then in a foreign country. All Mary wanted was for her and her child to be safe, be loved, and belong. May that be our Christmas prayer for all God’s children.
