You have the best mudlarking channel, period! Thank you, Alex and Gail, for your unmatched attention to detail. You understand, those of us who watch, want variety, education, and a quality presentation, and you never fail to deliver.
@@NorthernMudlarks I have to agree with the OP; your channel is the Gold Standard for mudlarking videos. You're informative and entertaining, and so lighthearted and cheerful, you lift my spirits and relax me when I've had a stressed out day at work. Thanks for letting me tag along with you on your mudlarking trips. Much love from North Carolina, USA.
I have to live vicariously through you two! Oh, how I wish I could go treasure hunting as you do! It must be difficult to pull yourselves away to head home not knowing what treasures are being left behind!
I’m growing obsessed with your black glass/jet mourning buttons/cabochons/jewelry. Faceted black is gorgeous. That little pointy icicle-like drop you found is 😍❤️🤤. And what a kind person Allen is! Thank you once again, larks, for sharing your adventure with us.
You ladies have the best content! Both of you work so hard cleaning the items you find and they look marvelous! Thank you for being you! And Allen, your gift to the ladies was so sweet!
Dear lovely Northern Mudlarking Ladies. 👍👌👏 Hooray! At last! Before I do my usual long comment, I simply have to thank you very much for using a white tablecloth again at last. Any of your great finds looks sooooo much better presented laying/standing on a bright/light background. Best regards, luck and health to all of you.
This is the best lark ever! I can't pick just one thing I like most. Gail's pipe and history is fantastic. Dolly for Alex is so sweet. The jet looks like a needle. I'm so excited for this video and the gentleman was so generous. Thank you ladies 😍😍😍. Blessings to both. I feel so sad for schwoo, needs a new friend.
So many beautiful finds!!! The bottles are so fabulous! That is a very precarious cliff! So glad you hung on!!! Kudos to Alan for the lovely gifts!!😃😃😃
What wonderful finds in todays video, I adore the stoneware pots. Allan was very generous with all those beautiful bottles too! Thanks Ladies, have an wesome week.
When I need to relax I watch your videos...the landscapes, the music, your voice and excitement... I can breath again... Thank you! God bless you! Love from Israel 🌺
It is so much fun to feel a part of your mother daughter mudlarking and artistic creative adventures! You’ve come a long way from the first videos, yet your sense of awe and appreciation never diminishes. Wonderful finds today and what a (steep/deep) adventure!
Awesome video, with amazing finds and then the gifts from Allan, what a wonderful day, awesomeness. Take care and stay safe and well, see you next week 👏👏👏👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖
That was amazing to find all those pieces washed out the bank. Makes you wonder what else could be there. Love those bottles and the history behind the police tag and other items. Thank you and have a great week
What lovely gifts Allan brought you! Especially the blob top! I love the pumpkin seed flask! Many thanks to you both for the amazing videos you share with us!!!!
Another amazing video filled with the most wonderful and original finds! Such wonderful stories and surprises with the gifts from another mudlark, Allen. Thanks for the smiles! Cheers from the US!
Gail and Alex, may I suggest a project? You could make little bottle hang tags for your best bottles to identify where you found them or who gave them to you. You could use pieces of found chain or make chains from found metals. For bottles you sell, make Northern Mudlark tags for them. Nice finds, great video!
Another fantastic video!!! Great finds ladies! I love that wee bottle too Alex. It was fun watching the both of you climb around the cliff hoping no one fell in the river. Thank you for the history lessons.
What a wonderful day! So many interesting things! I feel sad for schwoo, she seems lonely. I know you’re going to get her a companion. I wish I could send schwoo a hug or a nice worm.
I was so frightened Alex was going to fall in the water. Another lovely lot of finds and very interesting all the way through. Can't wait for the next video. I loved Alex's necklace she had on.
Beautifully made as ever. There seems to be loads of really good examples of things you often find., and it all looks superb on that table. Thank you for uploading.
I love you ladies. My heart is heavy 💔. We had a terrible tragedy in Wisconsin Where a felon released 2 days ago from his latest prison stay used his car to mow down 50 people, many of them children, killing 5 elderly people at a Christmas parade. But here, with you I can escape. Thank you, Gail and Alex.
Really great finds! Hard to pick a fav. Loved the bottles but the stone ware was awesome 😳. The doll and beads and tiny Bovril were amazing. Great gift from Alan! So kind.
Wow there's some high quality rubbish in that bank 😂 I loved the blue mug and the beautiful little burst lip bottles. The little black glass point would have been 1 or hundreds sewn onto dresses and capes as trim. Back when I made assemblage jewelry I had a small box of them and I turned them into earrings - they always went fast!
My daughter and I regularly visit our local bottle dump and find bottles from local companies now long gone. It's sad think of all the small businesses that no longer exist. We love the cream pot and the big glass jar. ❤
So many beautiful finds. Love all the pretty bottles and bottle stoppers all the finds are awesome looks like so much finds. Love your videos keep mudlarking. Can't wait till the next ones
Loved all your finds and the terrific gifts you received from Allan. Fascinating so many quality finds were washed out of the river bank by the flood. Thank you for sharing your finds! Truly magnificent finds and storytelling!
Thank you Alex and Gail for another interesting video, so many lovely finds. Some gorgeous finds . I love the little doll and tiny bovril bottle. Well love all of the finds .😉😊. Its was sad to only see brown shwoo looking into the window 😥. Would have loved to have made it up to see you on your craft stall and I hope you did well . Maybe we will have a mudlark together one day . Happy larking 😊❤.

Enjoyable video as always ladies 👍 ☺
The black pointed object reminds me of 'obsidian' in the states, volcanic glass...? But I know it can't be. It's beautiful. Oh, and I absolutely love the small bottles, ink wells etc.
It may be jet from Whitby which is worth more than obsidian
iron smelters produce a slag that looks very mich like obsidian so if there were smelters in the region that might explain it
@@DiggingSmith Good theory! We have found iron slag locally.
We love it! Along with the little bottles! We’ll have to make something with it ☺️
You had a terrific day today!Lots of great finds.

So many wonderful things😀 and my goodness how beautiful they looked all cleaned up in the sunshine.😊
What an epic mudlark ladies!👏👏👍🇦🇺
Both beautiful pipe bowls, stoneware unusual neck and pear shaped bottle, stoneware creamer
