My wife's maternal grandmother was a Holgate, we still have a few artifacts given to her great great grandfather, Henry Holgate of Burnley connected to Elgin Church I think. My father in law, now deceased, a proud Burnley man, would have been delighted to have seen this. Edit* we have a silver trowel presented to Mr.H.Holgate for laying the foundation stone of the New Sunday School, Saturday June 25th 1910. Sunday school is attached to Elim P.M Church.
