  • (turn on captions) Norway's deepest cave - Råggejavreraige - is more than half a kilometre deep. Join us on a trip through its imposing rope pitches, squeezes and the stunning Razor Passage. A 45-m free drop is almost an afterthought. These trips also documented and renewed a lot of rigging; going through the cave like this takes 12+ hours.

Thanks! "The heart of the mountain" - Nature shows a completely different aspect underground, and it's really worth seeing.

Happy to hear that ☺️. We're going back to Rågge this summer, for 5 days. More major trips scheduled. But I might try to catch up with old material... 4 weeks in the high arctic of Canada 😁

    Hello...nice video...Italian Speleo...based on Drammen.

speleo.no is the Norwegian Speleo org. Almost all caves in Norway are in the north, take a plane to Bodø and go from there. Look up "Sandågrotta" for a small limestone cave south of Kongsberg.

Hello, we are a group of Spanish speleologists who are going to explore this cavity. Could you give us the coordinates of the cave entrance?? We are doing a project to make the deepest caves in Europe, 17picos17simas (17peaks17caver), we have done Italy, France and Portugal, and of course Spain, which with its -1,589m is a large cavity. Thanks in advance. If you also give us some advice we will be happy to receive it. Thanks and regards. (We also consulted Michael Isaksson)

    Good afternoon sirs.
We are a group of 5 Spanish speleologists who at the end of the month are going to go to Norway to explore this cavity.
We are not contacting you to please ask you for some information. Could you help us please?
    The information we need is:
    - Topography and development of the cavity.
    - Contact the captain of the ship to go from Musken to the landing area.
    - Where we can buy gas when we get to Evenes.
    - Track the cavity access route.
    - Exact coordinates of the mouth of the cavity.
Waiting for your answer. We send you a cordial greeting from Spain.

Unfortunately I don't check the comments very often. But you found us another way and I hope you had a good trip!

@@NUSKish Thank you very much too. Just today we are returning home. We have achieved our objective, found the cavity, made the crossing and knew how to coordinate to reach Musken. all the best
