If your repair talisman repairs stuff, unbreaking actually still helps if its anything like mana tools in botania. Unbreaking in Minecraft itself isn't increasing the durability, just lowering the chance it uses a durability when doing something. Using unbreaking makes it so that your tool loses durability less often, therefore it uses less materials/fuel to repair
The repair talisman is probably one of the most useful OP things that remained intact after the transition from EE to Project E. It does not sacrifice its own durability or consume any type of fuel to perform repairs; It simply restores durability at a rate of 1 point/second for all items with durability in the inventory.

You can also make a divining rod with covalence, it shows you emc values of nearby blocks. This is useful early game before you can afford spamming catalyst. The klein star isn't just for gem armor, it also acts as a battery for things that consume emc like the catalyst. You can charge it via a transmutation table. Also the red katar just straight up does the mob's max health as true damage. It'll even one shot another player in gem armor, super broken.

If you do a 200 days, I recommend building something called a *Power Flower*, its built by using energy condensers, and energy collectors, glowstone, and a tier 2 alchemical chest. If you surround the chest on all but one side with energy condensers , and then surround those with energy collectors, and then surround those with glowstone, if done correctly, this is one of the most powerful EMC generators in the mod. If you add watches of flowing time on dark matter pedestals, (I've done a power flower with the glowstone layer being covered in the dark matter pedestals, it caused a lot of lag, but the chest would fill up with red matter in minutes, I personally recommend 5, one for each corner, including bottom, and one directly on top of the chest.)
