I'm so glad you did the steep down rail/ledge. You were ready to doubt yourself and call it quits, but the fact that you had plenty of motivators there brought the strength out of you to accomplish the goal. It's hard, but sometimes you just need to motivate yourself a little harder on those solo sessions to get the reward in the end.

I used to live right down the street from here. I was always "that fruitbooter" at the skatepark because it was rare that I ever saw another blader. It kinda sucks that the compound was built the same year we moved to PA. I'm hoping to make it there at some point.

@@NISHIAKI Skating on a miniramp outside isn't even close to blaring death metal, or having a screaming argument with your wife. A couple of "clink" sounds in the middle of the day is not a comparison. The neighbor sending out barking dogs is 50x worse.
Some people are just straight up cruel! If you got nothing nice to say then don't say anything. Just because he owns 50/50 doesn't mean you should expect him to skate like Farmer. He's having fun, living his best life. That's all that matters. Instead of ragging on how he's passing off sidewalks for pornstars, how 'bout giving him some input on how to correct it? Like how Sam & Lee rinsed those porns in the outro... that's how it's done.
If I was an asshole, I would say this comment was written with a style that allows you to express your actual opinions without having to take ownership for it. But I'm not an asshole and I wouldn't say that.
That's cool of them to let folks skate the compound even if it's not with Factions. Especially being that your Faction review wasn't exactly "sparklin". In fact I found it nonsensical if anything. You complained about heel lift & it being too spacious in the heel yet to remedy that you then tried to skate it with an Intuition liner which is mostly known for downsizing. So because of the spacious heel you replaced the stock liner which is gratuitous with the padding & foam with a thinner liner & then went on to say how you still had heel lift & your heel was still swimming in it? That makes ZERO sense.

They are very high maintenance, but they would leave their dogs out, barking whenever I was skating. Just inconsiderate

Noise is a legitimate complaint, to be honest. I have had plenty of noisy neighbors and it's a pain.
