Hey lovelies! I’m excited to be sharing this epic end of year faves and fails! Let me know what YOU loved (and loathed) this year!
I am laughing so hard at your comment about the caps to the Imaginary Authors' perfumes being like Spanx. They really are! Maybe even like an 18th century corset. My Whiff of a Waffle Cone is very snug, but I can get that off with my bare hands (listen to me, as if I'm wrestling a bull by the horns with my bare hands . . . which would be apropos if that bottle was their Bull's Blood). But their Blend No. 83 cap? I had to get the rubber jar opener from my kitchen drawer to use on this cap. Though I must say, the scent is amazing and worth the work. I would love a fragrance haul video from you even though I know that will be dangerous to watch! Regarding the Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream, I tried that and hated it. My makeup would not apply properly it, and I returned it to Sephora. That is way too expensive of an eye cream for it to perform poorly under makeup, in my opinion. Finally, I ordered Thoosa in my Devinah order during her end-of-year sale, and it is just as stunning and blinding as you showed in your Livemas and here. Thank you for sharing your faves and fails for 2023!

Kelly I'm exactly the same way with palettes! I usually like one or the other but not both! Odens eye is a perfect example, I adore the mattes but the shimmers almost always hardpan. It's why I'm so big on byop! Great vid, thanks for sharing. Oh & same on the rms!
YES. Oden's Eyeeeeeee. Honesty I adored what I have at first but this year I just sort of became disenchanted with the brand for the most part (I also had some less than amazing CS )
I think a lot of us have just found what really works for us and are particular!
OMG! Ok I'm still watching but I had to stop: the Devinah shade I remember thinking exactly the same thing when I saw it! It also reminds me of Barbie Cristal's dress I spznt a lot of time dreaming of this dress, in the 80's lol

Well don’t blame ME if you end up with a huge fragrance collection 🤣😉. There are quite a few out there. Some you get to pick your scents, and some that send random curations you don’t get to choose. There are pros and cons to all of them, but it IS fun!
Ending with Sydney Grace, I have several shadows & blush that are just not what I thought I ordered. Their swatches and lighting are off. I only buy on sale, and they usually get my order wrong. But I like it’s a California small town based company.
Oh no I'm sorry that you've gotten incorrect orders! I have had it happen once but they were great about getting the item that they missed shipped out quickly.
I find that a lot of their matte shadows in particular apply much darker than they look in person, but I don't know that I've compared shades to pictures on the site--I'll have to do that at some point.

It's always so interesting to hear different people's experiences. The Clinique Take the Day Off balm is the only one I like. (I do double cleanse.) I too love Sydney Grace, but the powder bronzers are not my favorite. However, I find them too warm leaning for my preference. I like the stick bronzers by Westman Atelier in Biscuit or Em Cosmetics in Terra. Can't wait to look into the perfumes!
Hi Lisa! I know that Clinique balm has a lot of fans-I was honestly surprised when I just didn’t find that it works for me.

I love the Wet n Wild tinted Hydrator! I've repurchased it several times. I definitely want to try out that hair gloss! My hair is kind of a frizzy mess lately 😏 Really want to get that Arabian Orient perfume too! Honestly, almost everything you talked about I want to get 😂
Wet N Wild really does have a few amazing products! The glossing treatment is so nice! I feel like everyone’s hair is quite dry right now with Winter-and dry hair gets frizzy because the cuticle

They both make such gorgeous shadows! What are your faves from Clionadh? I was so happy to get to swatch a few when I was at the expo-I could have gone a little overboard but I stayed calm lolol
@@KeepBeautyReal1 it changes. Right now I am playing with one and done iridescent shadows but Grisaille, Ferric and Mural are my most worn. Of course, I bought a lot of new possible favourites with their sale.
@@catherinelynnfraser2001 totally just went and looked at the two you mentioned! Mural is so pretty and vibrant! I feel like I have a devinah shade that dupes Grisaille...which is maybe why I don't have it. 😉 I've really gotten to a point where i have to look through things to make sure I'm not duping my own collection...which sometimes means I don't orcer during at all because I don't have the time (or dont want to take the time ) to investigate. It's an interesting money saving technique. haha
Oh no… I am sorry the Clinique balm didn’t work for you. I know many people complain that different balms don’t take off all their makeup and I rarely have that issue. For me it’s more of a texture thing. Maybe that’s because I go in with a cloth to remove the balm and not just wash it off 🤷♀️
I wish I had known that it works for you, I would have much rather given it to you than slather myself in it hahaha
I must have missed a couple of your videos this year because I knew most of your faves but there were a few products I didn’t remember… haha, I feel like an awful friend.
I am trying to resist more fragrance until I use up at least something but it’s sooooo hard!
If you have any suggestions for things I can try in my Scentbird subscription so I can schedule a few that would be amazing. I forgot to postpone December and they sent me their own pick(Malayan Tiger by Sanctuary) which I don’t love.

You should try the timeless brand vit c and the coenzyme q10 serum. I really enjoy them and their sales are pretty good.

I was curious if you know if the hair gloss was gluten free? I just checked the link you left & it looked like it could be but without knowing for sure I hesitate to cover myself with hives😅. My hair being longer is a very infrequent flyer as it becomes a static ball if it's to clean. Typically if I wash it I have to add a hair oil back in to keep it from literally flying.
Yes it is gluten free! And I bet this would actually cut down on some of the static 😉

Loved your recap! Thank you for a year of great reviews and fascinating beauty content! I have placed the RMS blushes and that hair glossing treatment on my “to buy” list. And I agree, I also love the About Face Matte eye paints, especially for my hooded eyes.
