As a multiple Moulton owner, it’s amusing to me that we never see the rear suspension dismantled! Moultoneers will know why.

It's vital if the frameset is to be repainted. What's so hard? Ok, the rear pivot bolts can be rusted in, but they can be sawn through if they won't come out. The worst bit is re-riveting the backing plate to the trailing arm afterwards - those holes do NOT want to line up easily!

We didn't get to see him take the front suspension apart - which would have been interesting. From my experience of restoring one of these bikes, I suspect there may have been too much swearing invovled to make it broadcastible :)

These stories are so annoying, so annoying. Why can you not show full episodes. It’s like going to a movie,
getting there ten minutes late then leaving 20 minutes before the show is over. Just crap.

I totally agree, what's the point in these 3 or 4 minute clips? I've stopped watching them now.
The show is on tv on BBC1in the week and repeats are shown on Freeview Channel 12 on Sundays.

Removing rust with a wire wheel is such a bodge. The bare steel exposed will rust again almost instantly. It needs rechroming unless it's to live the rest of its life under a coat of wax. That Duomatic hub should have been rebuilt, too. The large bearing races are not well sealed and the cages wear out fast. Spares are no longer made but are out there.
