A very sad fact is that the royal guards armor was severely nerfed from botw to totk with how the hidden buff was changed. Back in botw the charge stamina atk on royal guard was for EVERYTHING not just charge attacks, that means it has minimum stamina for dashing in water and wall jumping. It was a pretty niche armor set for early game runs that didnt need you to grind for level 2 armors. Yes you can up the stats on the royal guards gear but removing what was special about it kinda rubs me the wrong way
I mean three of these have been known since the DLC for breath of the wild… the only new info here is the Froggy Set’s extended dripping effect which is admittedly pretty cool! But the rest of this info is 6+ years old lol
Water warrior is what made me start considering weapons' abilities more & become so glad that they added them. I discovered that & the froggy set pretty early in the game 🎮 and then worked so hard to get the set. It's so nice to see that connection, especially bcuz now I more associate the froggy set with the water 💧
Mine is Radiant Armor + Gerudo Scimitar with a Molduga Bone fused. Pop on a level 3 Atk up dish and pretty much every enemy becomes a minor inconvenience.
in botw you could actually see the bonus "horizontal climb speed up" with the same graphic as regular climb speed up but it was removed for whatever reason.
I think the reason you stay wrt for so long in the froggy set is because the 2x effect is being applied to the previous buffs you receive from it as well
the frog suit one is actually the only one we haven't known, since all of the others are in breath of the wild, It's a bit sad how few people actually know about that game in comparison to tears of the kingdom. :(
Fun fact crocodiles will drag there catch into an underground nest of sorts or just to the bottom of the water so they specifically will rot since they cant eat fresh meat with the teeth they have Neat

Fun fact, the fastest way to climb is with two parts of the climbing set and then ravios hood, you just gotta climb diagonally instead of vertically.

It was likely a glitch/oversight so I can see why they removed it in TotK. But still... :(

Something I noticed about Ravio's hood: the game considers diagonally up as horizontal. You can get up cliffs faster if you zig-zag.
Froggy Set + Sidon can get you through the desert and fire temple with ease (or idk just buy heat resistant armor)
As a person who’s first LOZ game that I beat was Link between Worlds, I’m happy that Ravio’s hood is in the game

Champions leathers also has a hidden effect. It lets you use blade beams with the master sword even if you’re not at full health
