**Disclaimer** -never actually played this game before I agree that the auto miner should be in the front but in order for it to be useful you need to play in two ways -mine/chop resources next to the autominer right after it breaks them as it doesnt normally fully destroy the nodes -run track nearby to the resources to maximize the area it can mine On the other note, the auto picker upper should be placed at the rear or near the rear so that after the resources are mined by the autominer and then the person it can pick it up. If placed directly behind the autominer it wont be as useful because, like i said before, it doesnt fully break the blocks
in general though i believe dynamite to be better cuz u can play ahead of the engine rather than behind like the auto miner/grabber. Only time i think miner/grabber combo is better than dynamite is on higher difficulty because u have to cut your own pathway so you always are near resources. Even then, u are consuming alot more resources to fuel both the miner/grabber (and they require 2 different resources rather than 1 making it harder to refill) Each iron input can blow up around 40 resources while 2 or 3 to fuel the miner may not even get that many and you cant pick where to choose it

I really enjoy watching you guys play together; it is refreshing to see 4 people work and communicate well. Here are a few pointers to help you be more successful. 1. (This can be swapped with the dynamite car.) You NEED this car up front, you build tracks in FRONT of the engine. You guys are using so much run time to go to the back of the train to get tracks you need up front. This leads to your issues of being blocked off. (Ghost car consideration!) 5. Have the tank car as the second to last car. Now you have a point at the back (tank car) AND one at the front (Engine) to refill the water of your train. Your train should be in this order (towards the end of this video): Engine -> Auto Miner -> Track Assembler -> Dynamite -> Storage -> Tank -> Auto Grabber Also, consiuder waiting to upgrade your engine. You guys jump on that as soon as you see it register yellow in speed. You can go a couple more stations before you really need to upgrade. This gets you further before you reset the speed. Another point, which you did bring up, is YES, you can skip stations. This let's you keep the slower speed for more distance. If you are faar ahead of the demand, like when you have 15 tracks stacked up, keep going before your train gets faster speed. It is a preference to consider.

I would love to see you guys use the milk cart in a run. I think it could be used quite effectively when used efficiently. I have heard (but haven't confirmed yet) that if you have one of each animal on it you get each of the buffs.
They have a problem of leaving behind resources. and Upgrading train too early when it becomes critical. Yes, it is dangerous but having spare bolts to upgrade helps. plus the speed resets so they are just reaching critical speed next biome early
Yeah, I know this comment is not gonna affect how they play and shouldn’t. Just pointing out why they are not gonna be record breakers. And not be able to overcome the problems they keep mentioning. Mainly the resources not being available consistently (leaving giant piles/ groups of resources disappear). Getting stuck/ cornered (playing too safe and resetting immediately when speed gets critical, instead of stockpiling bolts before speed becomes too difficult)
On the SD campaign, it is strange because we had another one about how not to drive in the snow that one would think would have gone viral. The 2014 winter slogan made great bumper stickers...

Suggestions 1. U can top up the water when the tank reaches red. It still working fine 2. U can stack up tracks instead of wood/iron so it will be easier for next stages 3. U can upgrade your current wagons instead of getting new wagon because having a higher level of wagons is better than having more wagons with lesser wagons 4. At a certain point, u don't really need to use the axe/pickaxe because u have dynamite and auto miner so instead of 2 guys responsible for chopping wood/iron, u can have 4 people gathering resources 5. Train speed-critical is depending on your pace so u can ignore the warnings. 6. Dynamite isn't that good in the early stages even though it is your own preference so it's okay not to rush it too
I'm curious; but, wouldn't autograbber be more efficient at the end of the train? My thought process was that it would have things to constantly pick up with an additional time advantage to pick up all items. Would love for the stumpy peeps to test this once.

Wasn't intentional, but about halfway through, this started to remind me of the Board Game "Settlers of Catan." Namely, with the constant need for wood. Section from TBBT: "I want to build a road. But I need wood. Either of you fellas have wood?" (Snickering) "I don't understand the laughter. The point of Settlers of Catan is to build roads and settlements. To do so requires wood. Now, I have sheep, I need wood. Who has wood for my sheep?"
The strategy is to not upgrade the 1st crafter, buy a new crafting wagon and place it right behind the Loco, upgrade this one if u want, buy an other wagon what u want and when the train is full go replace the 1st crafting wagon at the back by an other wagon, so you have track right being the Loco and it's way more optimized and you can push more on each biome and go farther 👌
They haven't tried the suggestion that i left like 6 vids ago that they liked, it was to place the tracks past the station to edge of the world and then you will skip the station so the train doesn't speed up. However if you do this you cannot buy things nor get a new quest (its just the same one as the last one).
I want to see you guys put the grabber a little further back behind the water to grab awhile after the miner can work. A little spacing would make them more efficient I think.

I think you weren't using the auto grabber and miner efficiently.. The tracks were mostly made farther away from the resources.. Also there a couple of paths the tracks could have gone if u utilised the dynamite properly for a more efficient path like heavily forested area or iron area..
I noticed a lot of the time Jazz is the only one that fills the auto cars. and there have been times where they where empty and could have been filled. And then you complain about the auto cars not being helpful. well of course they aren't helping... they aren't fueled. I am still really enjoying the episodes. thanks for putting them out! I'll be all caught up before the end of September but its not like it is the end of the world
I think getting ghost early is better than auto miner or auto picker, who are better for the later levels. With the danymite you can get a lot of ressources too - with an auto miner too much ressources are sometimes left behind.
Auto miner doesn't seem that useful until you upgrade it. If you get it then you're probably better off not fueling it unless you're actually going to go behind and hitting the stuff it hits. Cause it doesn't break it down completely by itself. Also if you're in chopping/mining duty, then I think it's best if you stay doing that. I get wanting to help the gatherers fill up the cart, but there were multiple instances where a resource became a problem because the person working on it stopped to fill the carts. If you find yourself about to run out of something to cut/mine, immediately call it out to the other person so they can make you a path to a new area, while you finish what you have and gather what you have around you into a stack nearby. Let the people filling the carts and making tracks take the resource themselves.
I'm in South Dakota, and am conflicted on the Meth campaign :( the goal from what I've seen is to raise awareness about the issue, but now I am like oh crap, first we get people thinking we don't have internet, or cable etc, and now it's meth. Love my state.

The biggest issue I've seen repeatedly since the start of the series, is every time resources scroll offscreen, it's wasted effort. Why mine new resources when you can dump your tool for a second and go pick up 6 about to go away?
