  • Join Pastor Allen Nolan for a brand-new sermon series on the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul! Paul was a monumental figure in the early church and wrote 13 of the 27 New Testament Books of the Bible (14 if you count the book of Hebrews). Apart from Jesus, no other person has been as influential in forming the doctrinal views of Christianity. Paul has been referred to as the 2nd Founder of Christianity (with Jesus being the first). In this sermon, Pastor Allen explores the early life of the Apostle Paul, and why his life is worth learning about.

I don’t have a church home but realize that I need to be tithing. I think my best bet is to tithe to cornerstone through the mail so that I am doing what I should? I live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and don’t attend church. I just listen online. I’m debating on driving to Tahlequah each Sunday or even Wednesday night bc I’m really interested in “bible college” on Wednesday nights. I binge watch the sermons over and over again while I drive all day for work bc they are so good and I learn so much. I was raised in a baptist church but man I’m really drawn to Pastor Allen’s sermons. Pastor Allen, you have really changed my knowledge. Thank You Lord for Allen Nolan and his amazing ability to teach your word.

Before all, Lord Jesus fulfilled the moral law.
That is why He Has the right to be the Judge of the ones who are not cover by His Blood.
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
    2 Corinthians 5:20-21

Within an hour of watching this sermon, I got into a conversation with my Jehovah's Witness neighbors. Among the topics was whether we're still under Levitical/Mosaic law and why/why not. They were delighted with the explanation of the civil/ceremonial/moral categories and the fact that Jesus fulfilled the ceremonial category. Ironically, my conversation also touched on tithing. This was the one part of Pastor Nolan's sermon that I can't reconcile...what "category" of Mosaic law would tithing fall into? I've been taught tithes are no longer required. Please help me to explain this when I re-engage with my JW friends.

Literally, I listened to this video while making dinner a few hours ago, and then we went to walk our dogs and my teenage daughter asked me how to help her discuss this Levitical/Mosaic law with a friend! God is so good!

Abraham tithed to Melchizedek and there was tithing before the Mosaic law, and tithing was in the early church as well, meant to support the church, widows, and orphans. Jesus said to give to God what was Gods and give to Caesar what was Caesars.

I want to know if you can recommend books at the ceremonial law moral law and the third one lol Also a book that would explain Jewish ceremonial when it comes to sacrificial law … or just studying the first 5 books is enough

So the commandments states to keep the Sabbath? Sunday isn’t Sabbath? Why Sunday that man changed?

  • @ChristineMorris-i8c

Do we have to obey the Saturday Sabbath then? My SDA friend says we do and it is a matter of salvation because it’s legal.

It is my understanding from what I have read in the Bible that any day of the week can be a sabbath day now. (Just should be one day out of each week.) I’m no expert though. God bless you.

WHAT I TELL PEOPLE EXSPECIALLY JEWS IS THAT YESHUA FULLFILLED THE MORAL LAW SO THAT HE COULD FULLFILL THE CEREMONIAL LAW SO THAT GOD COULD LEGALLY RAISE HIM FROM THE GRAVE. COULD I SAY HE OBEYED THE MORAL LAW 100% SO THAT HE WAS A SPOTLESS SACRIFICE. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN PASTOR ALLEN.

With love, Pauline theology is not different than Christs. Paul taught the doctrine of Christ. Which a was to repent (and repent does not mean to change your mind about Jesus, it means to turn away from sin) and believe in the messiah.
