This theme park is awesome with all the different colourful theming, facades, its definitely has a lot of characteristics that makes this park particularly boasts more adventurous fun for the entire family thrillseekers alike, Charlotte looks like she's really embracing these fast intense fun Rollercoasters as her confidence is gradually increasing going on them braving herself riding the water rides as well bless her. Plopsaland is a special park for most Dutch and Belgium visitors. I remember going there as a kid with just a limited amount of kids rides, nothing thrilling at all. It was all about the characters. The park, comparable to Disneyland, is based on very popular characters and movies from Studio100, which most 90s kids grew up to. I have not thought about this park in years and looking at this transformation is simply insane. It is certainly a children’s park no more and I have to get back there soon. Thanks for reminding me, Shawn & Charlotte!
not just for Dutch and Belgian visitors, dude... Do you really think this park attracts only people from Beglium and the Netherlands? You are greatly wrong, loads of Germans, French and other nationalities also visit this park on a regular basis.
Finally managed to experience The ride to happiness. What an intense, incredible & beautiful ride. First thing I did after coming home is re-watching this vlog. Love it!

As a Dutchie, I grew up with many of the oldest Studio 100 shows (Samson & Gert, Kabouter Plop, Wizzy & Woppy, Piet Piraat, Big & Betsy) and I've been to Plopsaland once back in 2002, when I was 9. The park had only just opened and was much smaller. I just cried watching the Plop darkride because nostalgia basically attacked me with all the sound effects, voices, and music. Plop and his friends have such a special place in my heart. It's also nice to see how much the park has grown. You can really tell Gert Verhulst was inspired by the Efteling (where a few old Samson & Gert videoclips were recorded before Plopsaland opened).
Just visited Plopsaland and wow what an awesome ride, ride to happiness really is! Got to ride 8 times in the day and it was just awesome every time! Right up there on my list of favourite coasters now.
That reaction to the Tomorrowland coaster was brilliant. I've just googled directions to this park from where I live in Essex and it's around 140 miles if I drive and estimated at 3 hours. So tempted to take a road trip. I think us Brits often don't realise how close some of these places are to us because we are on an Island 🤣🤣 great vlog anyway guys.
The Ride to happiness is just fantastic. Words are not enough. You really have to experience this one for yourself. The nice thing about this is that every ride is different . We have also been lucky to ride it several times. Just fantastic and unbelievable. It is a total experience! Nice video!!

Nice edition to the 'plop' attraction. There is a kids show on TV which is called "Kabouter Plop" and one of his main sentences is "Plopperdeplopperdeplop" :) :)
Its as close to perfection as I have experienced a coaster yet. Just beatiful. Just the edge of the bar is quite intense on hip sometime. But nothing to complain about. The jojo roll hast just the perfect speed. Not to slow nor fast.
Finally, this is the Vlog I've been waiting for since this coaster opened in July! I rode it 4 times at the end of August (I combined it with a weekend trip to the beach in De Panne) and RTH really is an insanely good experience. Nevertheless, nobody can convey the pure joy of coasters - and theme parks in general - as well as you guys and this reaction certainly took the cake. If only the Mack family would build something like this in their own Park! They've definitely delivered the proof that Mack Rides can construct exciting Thrill rides. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of this years European road trip now!
The best thing for me was watching your last ride on the back and watching Charlotte's reaction,she was putting her arms in the air and the she felt she was going to possibly fall out so quickly put her arms on the handle a few times lol did make me laugh,great video guys👍👍
Mack are my favourite manufacturer so I am so happy for them. This looks like an absolutely phenomenal coaster and I know it would easily be my number one coaster if I am ever lucky enough to ride it.

Wow! Shawn and Charlotte this is one of your best vlogs as good as Energylandia. As for The Ride To Happiness it is just amazing, one of the best coasters I have seen. A night ride on this would be absolutely incredible. Even the Dino Splash ride looks brilliant one of the best log flumes. Great stuff guys👍

Oh my god, when you mentioned yew were doing a euro trip I knew this would be your first park cos its easier to get too from UK than a tube at rush hour 😁ploppy plopped land yessssss been waiting for yews to review the new coaster so here goes. BTW I just got back from energylandia for the first time and I literally followed what yew said, airport, uber, western camp resort (BTW if you buy a 2 day ticket at the camp resort it's cheaper and yew get fast pass for 1 ride each on the top 4 and yew can also use your ticket for another pass yaaaaay) Anyway thanks for the info(BTW kraków is worth a 2 day visit very fun energy) Going to port adventura in 2 weeks and again I'm following your advice yaaaaaaay times a million 😝🤗😝🤗

Be happy you can do all this Shawn.... I am planning my trip for 10 months from now and I STILL don't know if I'll even be let out of the country (Australia). I can't even see my partner in another state (3 months now, we are basically breaking up, the whole thing has killed us only seeing each other twice since January). And our infection rates are like an 1/100th of your country. It's a beautiful park on a beautiful day, I am enjoying living vicariously through your videos, and very cool of them to let you film everything. This was a great video, thanks. PS Dirty looking water on log ride put me off that one ride for sure.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Aww thanks but it's basically over.. My plan is to escape the country and I was solo in that interest. What is happening here is no joke, and the news are constantly lying about it. Police beating and pepper spraying a 70yo woman for just calmly walking in the protest, all captured live, all cut from mainstream media news to say protestors instigated it. The police attacked a young woman walking through the park on her allotted two hour exercise time and exposed her genitals in public. You have no idea what we are living through here. My advice, don't worry about DC Rivals over here, or the new woodie or the spinning blue fire clone opening end of year (one spinning car at rear, should be as insane as time traveller as has multi launch and rear spike added), NEVER ever come to Australia, or you may never get out. Right now I would rather be *almost* anywhere else. Imagine trying to escape a western supposedly civilised country LOL but that's exactly what I am trying to do. Selling off every asset. I don't even know why I talked about our coasters LOL, I am a 2 hour flight away and may never be allowed into that state again. It is INSANITY here. And no, even the double vaccinated are NOT allowed to travel across borders. Gives you great faith in the vaccine. We have one state with major coasters and only those in that state will experience them in the next year. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this point. Enjoy your freedom, and I wish my parents never, ever left Greece to come here. So do they at this point.
I really hope that with the addition of RTH Plopsaland will get a lot more attention and people will realize that this well themed gem is one of the best parks in Europe.

Anubis is such a bucket list Coaster for me I can't lie. It's themed to a childrens/teen drama that used to be on Nickelodeon called House of Anubis which was very cheesy but I used to love it when I was younger. I could genuinely feel your excitement and that "first time on a coaster" feel when you went on Ride to Happiness. Need to get out to Plopsaland as it looks like such a great park

'Ello, I'm watching this two weeks later. Well, it all depends on what you call close, but Calais is a little more than two hours away by car from where I live. And hey: I can understand both Dutch and English, haha. That's why I rather travel to the south-west and yes, I've been through the tunnel to London. Apart from the French in Calais itself that can occur, it all feels like home to me: (somewhat) flat terrain, the air...You certainly know the air is different more inland. Anyhow, I guess you're back home now and I'm looking forward to see the video's now!
Okay, to be fair, when I was travelling from Paris to home and noticed the plains of Hauts-de-France (nearing Lille), I slowly smelled the air getting 'wetter', and my face lighted up. Even though I was still in France, I already felt I was home, haha. I guess home is mild sea climate to me: that's where my heart is.
Very much looking forward to finally riding this at the third attempt this year, at the end of July! Loved Time Traveler but this looks next level. Bring it on.
I rode trains for a total of 20 hours just to get to this park for this coaster, I mean what should I say IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. I rode it in January when it ran rather slow, but it still managed to become my new #1 coaster.

that element right after the second launch on ride to happiness its like you are beeing shot into space and are floating around weightless for a second so crazy, when it comes to places like plopsa and toverland for example, they grow up allong with their initial audience it was created for, so that once theyre grown up they will take their future kids back as well :). its a pretty interesting circle to witness.
Don't know if it's still there, but Europapark had a Wickieland too! They had the most brilliant tube slides in a play area. They had metal rollers on the slide, and went like a rocket! Lol. Especially as an adult 😆🤣
My 1st visit to Plopsaland De Panne was back in 2005 when I did a coaster tour of Holland & Belgium & had a week at a Dutch Centre Parcs. This park feels like a "grown up Chessington". I do day trips as its nearer to me than Alton Towers, catch the 8.30am Shuttle then the short drive to the park, leave the park at 4pm and be home by 6pm. ;-)
Always enjoy watching your videos. Been getting over my fear of roller coasters due to the No Limits 2 coaster sim and using VR with it. It's been fun. Gonna have to take a trip down there to Belgium for Tomorrowland and the theme park, one day.

There are still children things, but i think that, since the 90 kids are adults now, they wanted to keep the same peaple interested in the park

Wow! Shawn and Charlotte this is one of your best vlogs as good as Energylandia. As for The Ride To Happiness it is just amazing, one of the best coasters I have seen. A night ride on this would be absolutely incredible. Even the Dino Splash ride looks brilliant one of the best log flumes. Great stuff guys👍

The ride to happiness looks insane the spinning on the first launch looked insane. I liked on the second pov where Charlotte put her hands up and then noped out of it
I rode it 21 times. You need to Come in summer because the park is open untill 10pm.30. Night rides on this coaster are just perfect!

Oh my god, when you mentioned yew were doing a euro trip I knew this would be your first park cos its easier to get too from UK than a tube at rush hour 😁ploppy plopped land yessssss been waiting for yews to review the new coaster so here goes.
BTW I just got back from energylandia for the first time and I literally followed what yew said, airport, uber, western camp resort (BTW if you buy a 2 day ticket at the camp resort it's cheaper and yew get fast pass for 1 ride each on the top 4 and yew can also use your ticket for another pass yaaaaay) Anyway thanks for the info(BTW kraków is worth a 2 day visit very fun energy)

Be happy you can do all this Shawn.... I am planning my trip for 10 months from now and I STILL don't know if I'll even be let out of the country (Australia). I can't even see my partner in another state (3 months now, we are basically breaking up, the whole thing has killed us only seeing each other twice since January). And our infection rates are like an 1/100th of your country. It's a beautiful park on a beautiful day, I am enjoying living vicariously through your videos, and very cool of them to let you film everything. This was a great video, thanks. PS Dirty looking water on log ride put me off that one ride for sure.

@@ThemeParkWorldwide Aww thanks but it's basically over.. My plan is to escape the country and I was solo in that interest. What is happening here is no joke, and the news are constantly lying about it. Police beating and pepper spraying a 70yo woman for just calmly walking in the protest, all captured live, all cut from mainstream media news to say protestors instigated it. The police attacked a young woman walking through the park on her allotted two hour exercise time and exposed her genitals in public. You have no idea what we are living through here. My advice, don't worry about DC Rivals over here, or the new woodie or the spinning blue fire clone opening end of year (one spinning car at rear, should be as insane as time traveller as has multi launch and rear spike added), NEVER ever come to Australia, or you may never get out. Right now I would rather be *almost* anywhere else. Imagine trying to escape a western supposedly civilised country LOL but that's exactly what I am trying to do. Selling off every asset. I don't even know why I talked about our coasters LOL, I am a 2 hour flight away and may never be allowed into that state again. It is INSANITY here. And no, even the double vaccinated are NOT allowed to travel across borders. Gives you great faith in the vaccine. We have one state with major coasters and only those in that state will experience them in the next year. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this point. Enjoy your freedom, and I wish my parents never, ever left Greece to come here. So do they at this point.

Anubis is such a bucket list Coaster for me I can't lie. It's themed to a childrens/teen drama that used to be on Nickelodeon called House of Anubis which was very cheesy but I used to love it when I was younger. I could genuinely feel your excitement and that "first time on a coaster" feel when you went on Ride to Happiness. Need to get out to Plopsaland as it looks like such a great park

'Ello, I'm watching this two weeks later. Well, it all depends on what you call close, but Calais is a little more than two hours away by car from where I live. And hey: I can understand both Dutch and English, haha. That's why I rather travel to the south-west and yes, I've been through the tunnel to London. Apart from the French in Calais itself that can occur, it all feels like home to me: (somewhat) flat terrain, the air...You certainly know the air is different more inland. Anyhow, I guess you're back home now and I'm looking forward to see the video's now!
Okay, to be fair, when I was travelling from Paris to home and noticed the plains of Hauts-de-France (nearing Lille), I slowly smelled the air getting 'wetter', and my face lighted up. Even though I was still in France, I already felt I was home, haha. I guess home is mild sea climate to me: that's where my heart is.

I rode trains for a total of 20 hours just to get to this park for this coaster, I mean what should I say IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.
I rode it in January when it ran rather slow, but it still managed to become my new #1 coaster.
I've missed seeing you guys this happy abt a new ride!!😍 wonderful vlog, always love the reactions, commentary and especially pronounciation when you guys visit a park in belgium or the netherlands😂💞💞

Went to Thorpe Park for the first time last week and honestly.....DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE THE PLACE...I LOVED EVERY RIDE THERE, off to Alton Towers and Chessington and hopefully Drayton Manor next year...LET THE UK THEME PARK TOUR COMMENCE and hopefully catch you guys at a park soon xxxx

that element right after the second launch on ride to happiness its like you are beeing shot into space and are floating around weightless for a second so crazy, when it comes to places like plopsa and toverland for example, they grow up allong with their initial audience it was created for, so that once theyre grown up they will take their future kids back as well :). its a pretty interesting circle to witness.

Don't know if it's still there, but Europapark had a Wickieland too! They had the most brilliant tube slides in a play area. They had metal rollers on the slide, and went like a rocket! Lol. Especially as an adult 😆🤣

My 1st visit to Plopsaland De Panne was back in 2005 when I did a coaster tour of Holland & Belgium & had a week at a Dutch Centre Parcs. This park feels like a "grown up Chessington". I do day trips as its nearer to me than Alton Towers, catch the 8.30am Shuttle then the short drive to the park, leave the park at 4pm and be home by 6pm. ;-)

Always enjoy watching your videos. Been getting over my fear of roller coasters due to the No Limits 2 coaster sim and using VR with it. It's been fun. Gonna have to take a trip down there to Belgium for Tomorrowland and the theme park, one day.

32:48 Oh, no, Shawn! The big difference used to be that Croky has sugar in it and Walkers (well, Lay's / Smiths here) didn't. Meanwhile Lay's does have some sugar in it, but still not as much as Croky. But they've got Croky, since it's Belgian. Of course.
