The first couple of episodes are the worst, but there are some really good and even wholesome moments in there later episodes, it’s part of their story, so I pushed through all the cringe and anger to get through it hahahaha
I'm from LA; born and raised. When they first meet Warren G, I know exactly where that intersection is - have turned that corner at least 1000 times and went to the fish market that used to be in that same square where the record store used to be. It's a shame that VIP Records is no longer there. When my daughter and I first saw AHL, we were soo surprised to see BTS in places that we actually knew.
I know a lot of people do not like the Coolio stuff but for me the the Warren G thing where he asks them to get girls off the street to be in their video is really creepy. Seriously if you're a female and some stranger asks you to be in their music video my mind is going 'Danger Will Robinson! Danger!' I'm so glad that putting women in a video just for the aesthetic is one of the HipHop things that BTS did NOT continue with. Nate and Tony made it so much easier to watch. The show got so much better after episode 2. Also really glad you're continuing with the series - it's so worth it.
I loved Nate and Tony.... the one they got rid of after he hit Jin with the rubber toy was on my hit list for a fair while haha... I was hoping one of the bodyguards would teach him some manners.....
Jin likes to collect many things, Mario Bros, white polo shirts, pajamas, currently his animated character RJ, on every trip he carried his RJ stuffed animal and has a giant-sized RJ at home, now he made another doll for the launch. of the astronaut named Wooteo, who was present on stage accompanying COLDPLAY in many presentations
I felt the same as Iris when I heard V. The other members' voices didn't impact me because they are the usual tones of voices in Kpop. But when I heard V's voice I was shocked. I couldn't believe that such a low baritone voice could be used in Kpop (generally deep voice tones are used for rap. Kpop has a standard for how to use each voice). I really think Taehyung has a unique voice!
The song, Something, they covered is from TVXQ they are 2nd Gen and they have a killing voice u should check out. Their MV's are so good of course songs. Also if u have seen the movie Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift their song Rising Sun is in the movie as well.
The whole AHL series for me was difficult... the fact that Coolio gave Tae such a hard time (and yes, I realise it was partially scripted for the show) but none of them besides RM spoke much English so they basically had no idea what he was saying to them... That's how I perceived it anyhow.... it made me want to throw fists for sure.... RIP to Miss Iris... I always wondered what she would have thought of Jimin's voice had he been in that group ...
Thank you for this vídeo!!! I cried again remembering where they came from, where they took knowledge and wisdom, it makes clear why they achieved the place they are now continuing simple, humble, hard working. I'm so proud of them, I chose the right people to love! 🥹💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank God you are back for TROB. Can't believe you forgot about it. We love these humble boys. They never change till now and I hope they will stay like this forever. Small things can make them happy. Their creak heads make us happy. V the social butterfly, he can easily be friends with anyone 😂.
I'm pretty sure that about 95% of the army didn't like the show. Every time I watch this again the same anger gets me. The other 5% interpret this in another way. They say this helps the guys to be stronger, etc. But I still do not like the introduction in parentheses.
this edit makes AHL look almost good but... it's not, lol. it's so cringe and hard to watch. or maybe I'm biased because I don't like the formula of reality shows in general. I will say that aside from the kidnapping stunt (which has NO justification), I think that a lot of army don't quite understand that the people who were cast in this show were instructed to be extra mean to the boys, for drama or whatever. they weren't just being dicks for no reason. still doesn't mean it's fun to watch. Miss Iris though, the vocal coach? she's legendary. 😊 She's the real life person that whoopi goldberg's character in the movie Sister Act is based on, for what that's worth. actually... maybe this is a controversial take but I think the boys did take away some important knowledge from this show, so it wasn't all bad. The fact of the matter is that a lot of hiphop in korea, and especially in kpop, is a disrespectful caricature of american black culture, because the artists/producers don't understand or respect hiphop's roots or culture. I don't necessarily think it's deliberately malicious--I just think the exposure isn't there. bangtan, though, is different, and I think a big part of that is they DO have the exposure and education that other groups don't. they're not fake hiphop--they have some cred, lol. and I think it speaks volumes that they are invited to do so many collabs with western hiphop and black artists.
After V said turn up, Coolio was done with him. I didn't like the push-ups or how he treated V. He was rude and disrespectful to me. Not to speak ill of the dead, just commenting on how I felt when I watched it years ago. Wasn't there another guy that hit Jin that was put off the show?
I think the BTS members got a really good idea from the American rappers how NOT to represent themselves and how not to treat others. For me some of the American rappers left a very bad impression.
To this day Hustle life is the only BTS content I refuse to watch in its entirety because of the first episode.
Yeppp, same goes with me... I feel sorry for the boys, especially JK who was very very young at that time..😢😢

V: tomorrow is my video is your needed.
Is the cutest thing i heard in my life!
team laundry, definitely! nothing to do but relax and scroll on your phone while you wait for cycles to finish 😎
If you didn’t like that you would have hated the kidnapping at the beginning.
The girls were Warren G’s idea for a video he produced.

Yeah, they surely worked hard during the reality show. Filming, practicing & recording an album. Not much time to sleep...
Finally💜I was waiting!!!!!!

V and jungkookie so cute 😂❤
Not going to do the shopping (grocery's) I detest shopping.

Went to New York on business from the UK no way I'm ever setting foot in the USA ever again.
