    My method with crying or reluctant kids is to offer to paint something on the parent first, this often calms and distracts the child from their distress and settles them enough to want to have something too. I often find the arm is also a much better option for them as they have more control and can watch along. Thanks for the advice some great ideas.

    "No I don't paint crying kids" 😂 yep I had to turn someone down for this very reason! Thanks for another great video you're on a roll! 😊

      😂😂😂poor kids, after an hour waiting and don't get paint, I wonder how guilty the parent is going to make them feel!

      @@alap83 No no, I remind the line often when I’m closing so they don’t end up waiting in line for nothing. Once I am closed, I give the remaining people a rainbow or glitter or something super fast before I go. The kids are totally okay! Lol

    I am in love with your entire page, your personality is infectious! I haver been doing 'nail art' for 16+ years and for the last year and a half I've had face paints in my house and every once in a while my child would ask for a design. About 6 months ago I had some parents ask me where my daughter had her face painted, said "me" and so then I started getting booked for things. I am incredibly new, and putting designs on toenails is VERY different. I'm curious if you'd be willing to showcase some of your quick 2-3 minute one stroke designs for newbies like me to practice. I am very slow, takes me around 6-9 minutes per kid depending on the design I'm doing. I have a hard time not embellishing or adding things, or fixing mistakes. My line work and tear drops need so much work. Any advice tips or tutorials would be amazing. I'm located in Canada!

      Hey Boonetown 🌈 🎨 🦋 🙂
      Toes are very different from faces! Lol
      The next video I'm working on will be how to be a fast face painter - I'll have it up in the next week or 2 and will share the shortcuts and practices that I use to paint everything in 1 1/2 - 3 minutes 🤗

      @@whimbubble.studio Thank you! I watch all of your videos and am just in awe of how easily it comes to you. I have so many questions though. It seems like you don't wash brushes after use, it looks like you put them away to get the rest of the design done. Is that correct? Do you wash them all once the child is finished? I am currently washing/plopping brushes into the water once i'm done with it, and then on to the next brush. Also... loading your brush just seems to happen so easily for you! I think I've asked this already tho haha. Thanks again! Love your videos

      @@boonetown6842 Hey Boonetown 🌈
      You have a fantastic eye for detail!
      I do Not rinse brushes after I use them. I rinse them Before I use them.
      I've noted all of your questions and will answer/show them in my next in-depth video. I have some free time coming up next week so hoping to get it uploaded shortly afterwards!

    Excelente video, thank you! Also, could you tell where did you get your insurance, I went to a couple companies and they said that there is not such a Facepainting insurance 😬 thank you

      I have business insurance through RLI. Try googling "Insurance for Face Painters" and there should be some face paint forums that list different companies to contact

    Do you have an age limit of how young you will go? I once had someone ask me to paint their 1-2 month baby once lol 😂 i didn't know what to say haha

    • @whimbubble.studio
      @whimbubble.studio  5 місяців тому

      I won't paint new new babies, like weeks old, but I'll paint any other baby that lets me and only on their foreheads lol

    • @whimbubble.studio
      @whimbubble.studio  5 місяців тому

      If the parent and baby are okay with it, I do. I don't usually get requests from people with baby's under month old

      Most insurances won't cover painting on those less than 2 years old.
