Hi there, I have made several of his designs and yes, most have that fabric cut off.. however, I measure 3/4” around the top n cut it off first, use my overlocker to add the elastic then flip the elastic right side and top stitch that seam down either twin needle or zigzag with matching thread.. hope that helps you 😁
Is there a foolproof way for lengthening the legs? My husband only wears long legged boxer briefs, but finding the ideal pattern is proving impossible.
could we not sew the pouch burrito style to enclose all these seams? never made men's gitch before! and I know "I" hate bulky seams. I DO like how the front pouch seam is sewn!
