Yeah, Beast in Black ! Nothing very original, but that's not what we ask them... Very catchy choruses and melodies. I saw them multiple times opening for Nightwish in 2022, and they are very fun to watch and listen to. Just like you, I wouldn't listen to them all day long, but they are like a "comfort zone" for old metal fans like me. No surprise awaited, but it works for what it is. And Yannis, the singer... What a voice ! The guy has lungs !!
haha for us we also learned about them in a Nightwish concert 2 years ago. We have been listening to them weekly for 2 years and went to their own concert 6 months ago. They are amazing
Even more rare for us... we listen to all 3 of their album on shuffle withotu skippign a single song, never happened with any artist before, even my GF whoo isnt super into metal love it all
The music was good. Seemed to be a lot of choral singing, many at once instead of just one singer. Not really my thing, but I wouldn't' leave their show. Kept me entertained.
Solid enough. Have looked at a few of their songs but for whatever reason just not doing it for me. Edit: LOL regarding Manowar. Which is a band I do like, but I'm right into medieval stuff and their songs are in that vein. Eric Adams of Manowar is still an amazing vocalist, even in his 70's.

Definitely a Judas Priest vibe. Singer really reminds me of Rob Halford.
