Thank you for a very entertaining season. Looking forward to the new season next year. May see you next June on Ruby light with our dog Archie. Stay safe and well. 🎉❤
Well done on capturing all of that and holding onto Millie at the same time👍. I doubted some of those boats were going to make it through! Well done to the Richardsons staff 👏
Really amazing to see "the professionals" from Richardsons casually manoeuvring such a large boat in reverse like it was nothing. When can we expect you back?👍
I hope you enjoy your break until next Spring. I shall miss seeing your Sunday videos as they have always been so enjoyable. Mills looked as if she did not enjoy the mud! Take care.
Hi Jonny, first of all I want to say thank you for your amazing and entertaining videos this year, we come down on holiday there every year and miss it when we are not there, so your videos help. I hope you can still take us around norfolk in the winter, I know some boat yards let you go round. If you ever go to Salhouse please video it's our favourite place, 😊
Really enjoy your videos had Major Gem last year nice boat no problems with it whatsoever very nice sailing especially if the sun's out and you got the roof back .Lots of storage space if there is a few of you on boat to tuck bits away like towels etc there were 4 adults a child and dog when I had it plenty of room
Thanks Jonny ! Very entertaining today. In it up to your ankles ? Have you seen Lisa's new butterfly patterned wellies ... she is all set for long spell of filming the floods 😂 Sorry that we won't have your postings to look forward to. See you next season ! Thanks for everything you have shared with us. Happy Christmas to you and Milly from Caroline and John
Hi Jonny, thank you for another stressful video! Very enjoyable. It’s Monday morning here and I have been watching this before getting up to cut our lawns. It’s stopped raining and 14 degrees Celsius. Great not having to go to work and attending the team catch up meeting at 9 o’clock. I think that I will get used to the freedom….given time.
I remember Connoisseur craft at Wroxham having to do this quite a lot when they were just the other side of Wroxham bridge, they always struggled getting their boats home, of course they are gone now, such a shame quite a few yards have gone, my favorites were Royals at Wroxham, they were such a friendly boat yard, but I guess everyone has to retire at some point, hope they are enjoying themselves with their rescue greyhounds, enjoyed this vlog xxx
Have really enjoyed these videos. We always seem to have more issues going up river than coming back down, regardless of boat height.. Must be how we line up to go under and it's usually been busy, of course. Did wait an hour or so for water level to drop heading downstream on Whisper Emblem, air draft 8ft 4", in 2016 until we saw a slightly higher boat get through ok. Think the height gauge was showing 8ft 3" if I recall correctly. Enjoy your winter break!
great video and what heroes those lads are from Richardson's, we've hired boats from them found them helpful, the second time we hired was 2yrs after our first time and my instructor told me i didn't need the instruction as i had not forgotten how to handle the boat despite the 2yr gap and we ended up spending our first night in the boat yard as it was still very windy at the time and the lads were advising not to go out some disregarded the advice went out but within an hour they were back in
Thank you and thank you for your story! Very interesting and informative. I’ve always but one hired from Richardson’s. They are really good great lads and blast they had a tough time getting those boats under! Thanks for watching!
Note how all of the older more traditional boats had no problem getting under the bridge while the river was in flood. The new boat designs have caused the issues, not the flooding.
Brilliant video pal my family did that bridge 2 years ago brought back happy memories ( I have subscribed)

Great video. don't see this everyday 😮
Thanks Mark, no you don’t! It was an amazing day filming!

I've noticed that, so i won't post the same.
It's like the suv effect on the roads, everything just has to be bigger!
What time in September are you going ? We will be there in the last week on Clear Gem 1
Any idea what other boat yardsare doing about Ludham Bridge Jonny?
I don’t actually know 😞
allo
i will be at work tomro and giving you a HUGE hug!!! :P
Oh I look forward to it!!!
Were es nicht am einfachsten alle Leute rund Rum ins Boot als Ballast zu laden?
They did do that to start with but as more boats passed through there were less people.

lol, sorry i had to use google translate, I’m glad you found it interesting and I would never film anyone falling from a boat or injuring themselves.
@@jonnytreehouse injuring no but take a free swimmig were ok for me giggle
😂
😂Was Ludham bridge put there to provide entertainment for boaters in an otherwise boring passtime?😂😂😂
Oh Declan, honestly 🤦♂️🤦♂️
