A counterpoint: What really is left to pry open anymore? Ukraine government cyber security is on highest alert now, and economic activity within the country is shaky at best. Compare how the cybersecurity of U.S. companies and government is fending off?
Great points! I think this is more showing how much more desperate the Russian hackers are lately, and the fact that Ukraine has been upping their cyber security means that that's one less mode of attack that can be done to them. What's more worrying is what form of retaliation is left when the cyberattacks aren't working anymore, as well as if they'll start lashing out to other countries.

There's been vague warnings of increased cyber threats, but there isn't much awareness that they are being ramped up by foreign actors, mainly because our leadership has not declared WW3 yet, we are not prepared enough unfortunately because of non-prepper mindsets...

Look, I have no opinion on Elon or anything he does/says. Now, to your question: I think it's a good piece of technology for people in rural areas! I'm not sure of the pricing or anything as I have not done much research on this, but the concept works and it has potential. The issues obviously are if the satellite network goes down, you're kind of sol, but that's my opinion on it! Stay safe out there

I'm not looking to get one at but thing that was making wonder about was how good could the security of that type of internet really be I know hackers always find ways
One thing to think about is the age of the device itself, and how many people are using it. Back in the day, Mac's were said to never have viruses, but that's only because they had a small user base. You could say the same with the StarLink, that because of the small user base, hackers aren't going to waste time with finding exploits for the device, but because it's a internet device you still should be protecting yourself from the general things like phishing attacks, and things like that.
