I like them because they are fantastic musicians, amazing song writers, play upbeat and fun music and even though they dress like maids, they are still completely classy - no trash or selling sex. What a refreshing change from the sewer my culture has become.
I think the human malware interrupting BM’s live performances was good for them. Granted they may have come closer to world domination. However, the break gave them much needed rest, possibly a reset. Now they hit the road with renewed energy, new material and total devotion to their fans. I saw them during their 2022 tour. The line to get in started at 6 am and everyone fed off the energy in the room. It’s not just a concert but a total experience.
Hey Anastasia! Yeah, the Maids are having a brief US tour, starting Sunday, mostly between festivals, i think. But not coming near either of us - boo. Haha. Rock on! 🤘😎👍
you did missed the opportunity of heard this song, this was performed in all the US tour with a extended intro, and the people singed with the band all the "whoo hoo hoo" parts, that´s why Saiki smile, they know that the song is a favorites of the people.
10TH Anniversary!!! Im seeing the ladies in Detroit, Nashville and in Salt Lake City (this venue only seats 1k). These are going to be some really intimate shows 😊
They are back touring the US starting 14 May- 9 dates, then again 4 August- 9 Dates. Tickets are on sale now- you in the US and Japan are so lucky- try being in the UK.
I feel tired just watching Akane beating that drum kit like it owes her money, the double kick drumming is insane. The mistress of thunder (as I call MISA) brings the booming riffs that make me happy 😄
Yes. Absolutely. I’ve stated my preference for the fancams many times since this has been out. You don’t get the crowd energy. It’s palpable energy that’s missing here. In the US fancams, you can hear Saiki completely trust the crowd to carry half the chorus. It’s magical and it’s mostly missing from this sound mixing/audience.
You have to experience Band-Maid live. Fans from rest of the world are so jealous of U.S. fans because Band-Maid has already toured there in May and back again in August. If you really want to check them out, tickets aren't that expensive unless it's re-sale tickets. Some tickets don't even cost $50. Do yourself a favour and see them live. you'll never regret.
@@lonniekramlich6241 very cool.👍 Lonnie do you want me to just tell you what credit you got in "The Maidiac Returns" film poster just in case Mr B never shows it or just forgot? You may not have been starring but i still think you got the most important role.😏
Saiki smiles and laughs a lot during their concerts lately (at least from last summer). I think she has completely unleashed herself because they can perform in front of their fans again. Band-Maid is touring US in May and August this year, but their venues are at South, Mid-West, and West-coast, and no North-East. If you are willing to travel, you may get a ticket at the regular price...probably😏
Anastasia, darling: get off your ____ and get it done, right now! Most of us have already gotten our August tour date tickets (good luck if you need May tickets). It's Band Maid doll -- you snooze, you lose.
They are gonna be in the States again in May. Not sure if they will be in your area tho. Btw have you had the chance to check out Saiseiga? If not def check out their song Jumble. They are def a more underground Japanese but but they are awesome and the vocalist is amazing.

No Northeast shows this time around, not in May or August. I was going to Nashville in May but had to cancel due to work. So nothing close to NYC this time. Hopefully in 2024. Tickets in Boston in October were selling day of show for $20 if you can believe it. Peace.
That is a very interesting, eclectic (and tiring) schedule. How did you make these particular choices? (Your dedication is duly -- and quite properly -- noted!).
I don't know why they released a second OMV of No God & Sense, or even Puzzle from this Garden concert rather than the better, imo, Studio Coast version. But as Gary Holloway said in one of his comments, maybe they just wanted these songs out with a "live" audience (although it's a stifled audience due to COVID restrictions of mask and no singing or yelling) to help sell the new DVD/BD drop -- which I just received. The 90 minute documentary of their recent USA tour is fascinating and a real tear jerker! Kanami was in worse shape than I had realized toward the end of the tour. It's a must see for fans! Thx, Anastasia!
AFAIK, for most japanese people, they feel themselves obligated by society to choose a lifetime career just after finishing high school. Being a musician in Japan means having a full time professional job, not a hobby. Bohemian musicians are very rare.

Some of the bands you mention sometimes play tiny clubs. There are people in the Band-Maid community that can help get tickets in Japan.

BAND-MAID are touring hard this year on their relentless march to World Domination. "WE HAVE GOT TO WIN!"
Gary forgot to say "PO" ! 😊
@@brandydynamite5877😯 "No God i did....Oh PO".
I’m reporting Garry to the Po-lice 😅😂
They'll win sooner or later, hopefully soon
We are going to win!
They are touring this year again but the furthest east they are coming is Florida, Atlanta, Detroit and Nashville.
Charlotte don't forget....

This official live video is ok, but I love some fan-cam live videos of their us tour last october. so much energy there✨🥰🤘

You had better hurry. Tickets for their 2023 US tour went on sales weeks ago.
The August tour.... don't know what's left for the May tour. They went on sales months ago.
@@_JimS The August tour is only Midwest and West Coast, an expensive trip from NYC. The May tour is similar, the closest is Charlotte, NC.
@@Daniel_Colavecchio That's the show I'm attending. The The good thing about living on the left coast is Band-Maid visits.
You mentioned Korea, you should check out "ROLLING QUARTZ" from Korea (AZALEA) is an awesome M/V cover song. I believe you will be impressed!!!!!
