- This is Pepper. I have to get him home from Orlando to Chicago. He's spent most of his life in small tanks and cups and I plan to give him his forever home.

You are actually a designer, an aquarium designer. I can see that you really care and give best to your fishes or even though just a little shrimp, you still give them big, beautiful tanks to live. I really appreciate you about caring the wildlife animals.

Similar story- I got a goldfish at a fair in St Lois, then when my family moved to New York- (my dad and I drove) we took her with us. SHe is now four years old, and happy and healthy. We drove a goldfish across the country.
I am interested in how you move all the tanks once completed. You make them on the same surface every time, but then how do you move them and where do you move them to?

My little buddy Ted also use to live in small 2.5 I upgraded him to a community first few days he's a afraid of other fish rarely comes out but now he's a perfect nice Betta ever
Pepper is a bit skittish as well. He absolutely loves the hiding spots in the tank. Does your community tank have plants for little Ted to hide? I'm sure he'd love them too!

oh I am thinking of a community tank for my koi betta (his name is Mr Handsome) he is in a 10 gallon rn but I want to get him a 20-30 gallon tank and I am thinking of getting other fish for the tank to. Will he be scared or agressive or will he just be fine with the other fish?
@@AquariumInfo it's hard whne they get out to a bigger tank my local let shop they live in a box tiny tank and they are skiddish and I am getting one for my birthday:D and I'll name it sunny or pepper
@@thecreature916 depends on him my little buddy Ted manage to settle in he's just peaceful but anyone tries to mess with him will get a taste of his wrath but so far he's peaceful most of the time

This was the 1st video from your page that I ever saw and I and I absolutely love this. When I 1st saw that you were setting up the tank as soon as you got him I was scared that you were not going to cycle it and just put him right in but when you explain that you were cycling the tank and how long it would take for this process I was super happy especially since you added him to a beautiful tank with lots of space. Quite often people think that betas can live happily in small one gallon containers or less And a lot of others don't understand what cycling is or even know about it so thank you so much I definitely have subscribed to your channel now❤❤❤❤

Do you need to wait for the 2-4 weeks filtering and heating to put your fish in the tank or can you put it in during the 2-4 weeks?
You would have to wait. It's possible, but you'll end up stressing the fish. Adding it in during the cycling process will just elongate that process and require more maintenance and work than needed causing you and your fish stress. For a 10 gallon tank this could mean more frequent water changes throughout the week and water testing rather than having to do that once every week or two if it were fully cycled. This also depends on tank size, the larger your tank, the less maintenance. I would leave this to more experienced fish keepers who have the time and knowledge and for some reason brought fish last second as an emergency.

To make his health better add almond leaf it might get the tank brown but it will give him a good healthy life or to make tank look better remove the leaf within 2 days

Aw that's so exciting!! Make sure you cycle your tank before adding the fish, tho! A lot of people immediately add the fish without realizing they need to cultivate a colony of beneficial bacteria first to take care of the ammonia in the tank. Without that bacteria, ammonia from the food and fish poop builds up quickly and can harm and even kill your fish :(

Thinking to fly two gold fish from Columbus,OH to Chicago, but when I checked with airlines they seem to not be familiar with the rule of allowing live fish on board, what US airline let you do this? I would love to know!
I’m curious about this too. It looks like she was flying on Spirit, but as far as I know they generally don’t allow fish and other non-traditional pets?
