Pringle had his moments as a batsman. Took apart county attacks while playing for Cambridge Uni, and regularly batted 6 for Essex. But at least 2 places too high here for England. And he just got worse as time went on - see Ol' Pring trembling when being knocked over by Waqar Younis in 1992.
This was my 4th England Test Match I Attended and my 1st since New Zealand in 1983. Memorable Moments Top Draw Darren Many Thanks Mind how you go. WAYNE.
In the 41 tests for England he was only on the winning side twice. I was a big fan as a kid.
Rest in peace Dill

Ahhh the late Graham Dilley lovely bowling style
Always had a soft spot for the (sadly) late Graham Dilley, beautiful bowling action. Gone far too soon.

Derek Pringle batting at number 6. Madness!

Again, as a Trent Bridge, the Third Team, the weathet, intervened. Well done Windies getting to 209!
Such a shame England dropped so many chances, otherwise it would have been a better match.
No mention by Richie about 'shagger' Gatting at the beginning, other than to mention he was absent. How times have changed.
