Nice video. The tensioner on the center idler chain failed on my 2011 Tribeca with 160k miles (The chain wore through the plastic and aluminum of the tensioner, and the piston fell out). I am in the process of doing this repair myself. The price of the parts from Subaru are excessive, and I will have to go aftermarket.. Can you tell me where you sourced the replacement parts and/or the brand name? Thanks!
Can you help me with reassemble? I'm confused when my cams are at 12oclock I can't turn my crank to 12 o'clock to put the first chain on. What am I doing wrong?
Much respect mate you’ve done a peach of a job sounds lovely fortunately here in the uk we won’t see many of these as the jap cars are rotten from one end to the other by the time timing chain goes faulty 😂 quality British weather
Great job as always. 👍
Sounds sweet nice work
Thanks Mate.

Go onto auto data and get the instruction from there.
The timing chain tensioner is a well known problem on these engines, interested to know how many K's this engine has done?
Hi Bigfella it had 137,000ks on the clock
