I hope you have/had a good rest before your next trip, you both deserve it.Although it's nice to have two perspectives on trips I do like to see you together. You are a great couple.Thank you Bob,Jenny Poppy and Tara.Safe travels.See you on the next.
Hi Bob and Jenny a great video and what wonderful places all around there my parents have been to Bernard castle and raby castle and spoke highly of it and I can see why from your video would love to visit and looks like you all had a great time I love Northumberland it’s so unspoilt isn’t it all the best to you all Daniel
Ah, that was good timing, going too visit friends who will be staying at the Teasdale site and was wondering if there was a visitors carpark (we're staying at a nearby pub stop). I think a castle visit is in order now as well, thanks for sharing... 😊
The White Hart is beautiful. Very lovely castle grounds. I'll bet Poppy would have loved to go inside. Hope you're both enjoying your Denmark trip. Looking forward to the vlogs.
We saw you arrive at the Barnard Castle site but didn’t want to bother you, much as we wanted to just say ‘hello’ . It’s a lovely site though with a bustling town. We had travelled down from Peterhead via sites at North Berwick and Morpeth as part of our summer tour. Love your video blogs, very informative and useful for our future travels.
It’s always a nice visit to Barnard Castle, not too far from us - we haven’t been to the club site yet with the campervan but we did go with our Bessacarr Motorhome back in 2014. Thanks for showing us around, must pop over at some point. Off to Harrogate at the weekend. Safe journey home. all the very best, David & Rachel 👍
What a beautiful place! Bob if you were members of the HHA (Historic Houses Association) you would have got in free. You have visited a number of historic houses and sites this year that are members of the Association. We have visited many sites this year including some local to us, at a considerable monetary saving.
Bob, There is a good pet shop in Barnard Castle. Just as you turn into the car park and supermarket as Jenny passed on the way down. If you come up again please go to the Bowes Museum. Turn left at the market cross roundabout. Barnard Castle is Barney to the locals, as Bishop Auckland is Bishop, although where Pets are Us are is Tindale Crescent. Great review of Raby Castle
03:02 whoops! Melrose is a great site. We used to live near there until earlier this year but would still stay over and have a meal in a local. The drive over Carter Bar is magnificent. The bikers and motorhomes stop there now as there is a great butty van. Always follow the A696 to Gateshead, don't turn off the A696 onto the A68. It is a very convoluted cut which is no quicker and a worse road. Satnavs will always take you on the A68 turning North of Otterburn. No, go through Ponteland. Much quicker onto the A1 especially in a 8m moho
Thank you. Enjoyable as always. The trip duet is a reminder of the beauty and the effort on the road.
