The tape is pretty solid in terms of its adhesion but I was able to peal it back off without damaging the paper (which is a 32lb paper weight) This would be another reason I will be using the adhesive/gold foil method which seemed much more permanent. i also have a sealant layer to add to it but have yet to apply. I haven't tried paints or inks but I'm not sure how well they would hold up on the kind of paper I am using to print my comics. I also have some silver foil ordered as well.
