I have this rack, love it! Yes it doesn't fold, but it's nice when you live near trails like me, and don't need a rack all the time, I can take it off easily.

very thorough well thought out review!
The only concern I have with this bike rack, and most other tail mounted racks, is that they obscure the brake lights on the car. I would like to see a feature where there is a mounted light on the rack (plugging into the trailer plug) that could be put far enough out to display when the brakes on the car are deployed.
Other than that..any rack that you don't have to take your tires off for is a great rack!

Thanks for the review. I want to explore it over Thule or Yakima roof mounts for accord. What's the longest distance covered by you with the bike? Has the hitch rack given any kind of troubles like loosened up or something? I've had trouble with Thule trunk rack XT9009 as its prone to every adjustments. So I'm looking for hitch rack. When u got the hitch fitted,...did they have to cut the heat shields underneath? Which is better comparatively with the roof rack or the hitch?

Can it carry two electric bikes at the same time on a 1 1/4 inch hitch? Both bikes weight about 130lbs

in some tray style bike racks, if you have 2 bikes of the same size the handlebars and seats often get in the way, does this rack have that problem as well?

Nice rack but my fat tire rack has fenders so this won't work for me so I'm out.
