I watched this video 3 times, thank you for teaching verse mapping this way and how cool is it that your free printable is exactly the passage I’m studying this morning! Definitely going to try this method out for deeper digging because I do tend to just read those verses in Romans 8 like a long list, but haven’t ever sat down and figured out the deeper meaning of why those were the words chosen to explain what could separate me but doesn’t separate me from the love of God in Christ! 🤍 Looking forward to my mind being blown by His Word yet again 😁🙌🏻

I was wondering if you knew of any sources that you'd recommend using to know the context of each passage, similar to what you mentioned at the beginning before you started reading 1st Peter. I understand that you had some schooling, so maybe that is where you got that information, but I'm just wondering if you knew of any good, solid resources. Another thing, in other videos of yours, you mention thinking about what the originally readers or listeners of the passages would have been thinking or how they would have interpreted it. I'd love to know that information, but I don't know where to find it. Any tips?

When you mention look up a word in your dictionary( like in your romans verse mapping study)...does it mean ordinary dictionary or a bible dictionary?😊
Thank you for the video. I just started watching your videos recently, and I wanted to print out the free printable that you offer here. However, the link is broken.
I seen you used a notebook/journal. Do you write all you did to understand it or is it to be referred back to? I have written notes with the best intentions of reading them again but I don't. You had a bible journaling for each book (you had a couple) of the bible a couple of weeks ago. Is something like that better? Writing directly to the bible but I cant wrap my mind around how to do it. Or just talk it out in writing to have a deeper understanding?

Is it good to verse map when you haven’t read through the whole Bible?
I think it’s really just what you’re aiming for. Like, you can read through the whole Bible and not understand much, but get a general understanding of the story of the Bible, OR you could zone into specific verses that you need help understanding. So it’s like you should do BOTH!

It's good to verse map but I think you were going to fast do I had to be pausing the video to get the whole essence of the exercise.
This is truly great, but I can't imagine anyone ever using the NLT, or the NIV for that matter. But I loved the video
