Hey guys! Check out this series of 30 fertility boosting, trying to conceive videos, posted in 30 days! In this video I talk about PRESEED, a TTC lubricate that mimics fertile cervical mucus (EWCM - egg white cervical mucus) to help sperm travel up the vagina and toward the egg for fertilization. This is a great product if you are low on fertile CM or if you have yeast infections, etc. that could be creating hurdles for sperm on it's journey to the egg.

I was a bit friendly with my past relationship! When my husband and I got together I just knew I “COULDN’T GET PREGNANT” with all the ex relations I didn’t think sperm would help! I went to Walmart, got the pressed and two kids later…. It worked!

This was super helpful! I’ve been struggling with yeast the past few months and I know it’s contributing to my inability to get pregnant but it won’t go away!! I’m picking up pre seed today in a last ditch effort to not waste this cycle. Pray for me!

    Hi Susan!
I tried your 9 herbs(2 months of ashwagonda, Maca, turmeric, nettle) ...I had regular periods and regular ovulation like clockwork. But I just started this month taking Vitex, red Raspberry tea and prim rose oil and I am now 9 days late ovulating. Is there anything you recommend to fix it?? Dong qua? Or Shatavari? I stopped taking all on Friday per my Accupunturist...but I still have nothing. We have been trying for a year...please help! 🙋🏼‍♀️❤️🌹

Hi! Are you Chrissy who's been emailing as well? Sorry I've had no time to reply, but I can take some time now.
We first ned to take a look at how much you're taking of each herb and WHY you are taking each herb. The "why" is important because if you have no known fertility issues than some herbs might throw your system off balance instead of supporting it.
Ashwagandha is good for stress reduction - about 1g per day - and should not be taken during the two week wait.
Maca nourishes the endocrine system to help balance hormones - 500-3000 mg per day
I don't think I've ever recommended turmeric for fertility, but it could be beneficial in reducing inflammation if that is a concern of yours. I'm guessing that this should also not be taken during the two week wait.
Nettle tea is nourishing and can "tone" the uterus so you might not want to take it during the two week wait either.
Raspberry tea as well, is nourishing and toning to the uterus, so you might not want to take this in the TWW either.
All of these first herbs sound fine, as long as you're not taking them in too HIGH of doses - though like all foods, your body may have a negative reaction if you have an allergy to any of the components in them.
When you're talking about ovulation specifically - the two things that worry me are the evening primrose oil and vitex. I don't think I've spoken in detail about it in my videos, but both of these two herbs can increase your progesterone/lower your estrogen. It's common for high estrogen/low progesterone to be a problem for many women, but if it's not an issue for you them you may instead be creating a situation where you have high progesterone when you don't need it!
Our hormones goes up and down throughout our cycles- in the first part of our cycle we want estrogen to be higher and in the second part we want progesterone to be higher - if we are healthy and our hormones are balanced this will happen naturally.
If we have progesterone levels that are HIGH in the first part of our cycle (follicular phase) than this can actually prevent ovulation! When it comes to your Vitex and EPO, my concern would be that they have created high progesterone levels this cycle. Both vitex and EPO usually work very gently and take a long time to have an affect on your body, but there is a chance that if your body is sensitive enough and if you have consumed and absorbed enough that this may be what happened!
I think it's good that you have stopped all herbs. For now I would just wait until your next period. Do not add Dong Quai - it's a very powerful herb that should only be used if you really NEED it. And shatavari as well, there is no need to take.
I know you've been trying to get pregnant for a while and you're doing all you can to create the best environment for healthy reproduction. I don't blame you at all for trying everything! I've been in that same boat!
The truth is, if you have no real known health issues that could be affecting your fertility (like stress or an imbalance of hormones) then there is no reason to be taking certain medicinal herbs. Also, if you do have certain health concerns then it is important to speak with your doctor or a professional (your acupuncturist) who knows your specific situation and how your specific body may react to certain treatments.
It's so hard to give advice on the Internet to fit thousands of women at the same time - we are all so different! So I'm very sorry if any of the info I have provided has taken you off track.
Let me know how everything goes! I really hope it all works out for you and you get your ovulation back next cycle.

My advise is Don't take all in Once. For Vitex, use Alone it for 3 to 6 month and do the same for all the rest
