Michelle was definitely feeling the Holy Spirit with this one. If she makes Afro beats gospel songs, she would definitely have a stellar career. Songs like say yes makes people feel good and want to dance. I feel like this song really worked for her and she should continue to make music in that lane.
Gospel is Michelle's genre. She was forced to audition for Destiny's Child by a choreographer friend who had worked for the Team. He had assured her that she was not what DC was looking for, but auditioning for them would get her exposure, but she ended up being the one picked. Reason her outfits used to be more modest & performing with Destiny's child was not a natural for her because that's not the kind of artist that she is. In this performance she was in her element and her confidence and passion shone through!

Michelle wrote it with a couple others but they wrote it with the Nigerian song in mind.
Kelly is beautiful inside and out! I have always loved her vocal arrangements. Even on the first DC CD, Kelly's vocals were on point. I think all of them can sing, but I think Kelly just shines and she has this quiet confidence that shows. I love her cool demeanor. The vocals from all the ladies were on point.
