Every time Sarah says she likes something my debit card hides from me 😭🤣 I love that you keep the reviews short & concise 😊 I love using the Neogen micro essence I use it everyday! I thought the serum had fragrance, I could’ve sworn I saw it on Soko Glam but it might have been something else.
@@NOBSBeauty I love the Neogen micro ferment essence, I use it daily. I just opened my last bottle of the Primera miracle seed essence & I have not been able to find them. Have they gone out of business? 🥹 I love the Primera miracle seed essence, that’s what got me on essences to begin with 😭
I recently bought the hyggee natural repair serum. I was very interested because of your recommendation and also the ingredients list is jam packed with great stuff. It arrived last week in the mail. Thank you. I love it. I too now need to buy the huge bottle lol
Hi Sarah I have had pretty good luck with K beauty serums overall. A few favourites are: BofJ glow deep serum - I was looking for something to fade a bit of hyperpigmentation, but wouldn't irritate my hypersensitive (rosacea and eczema) skin. This is working pretty well for me. It's gentle (which I need), but layered over the cosrx propolis toner is having a notable difference two months in. I should mention I use azelaic acid and have done so for several years, but am getting a boost in brightening with this. many pigment targeted serums are really strong and my skin doesn't tolerate them, so this is working for me. dear, klairs fundamental watery oil drop - not a new product, but one I have repurchased many times. My dry skin really likes it and the 50ml size isn't too expensive. I like the purito one shown too and the other BofJ serums are nice for the price. The Banobagi my skin freaked out with, so it was a fail for me. A few others here I would like to try. The Neogen essence i've used before and really liked it (the toner has essential oils and exfoliating acids). best wishes.
I also loved the Fundamental Watery Oil Drop- I loved it so much I went through it so fast, need to repurchase it again and give it another whirl. BOJ also always has great stuff- I'm excited to see what else they might have in store for the future! ETA: thank you for mentioning the Neogen Toner- I mixed up the Essence with the Toner, going to add this in the description!
Benton reformulated their Snail bee essence, bottle is bigger but ingredients are very different. I would love to hear your thoughts if you get a chance to try it
Stylevanna had a real good sale on the Hyggee serum 30ml and i finally was able to buy it and try it. I'll get off Amazon when i finish the small if I love it.
The purito is one of my holy grails!!!! So is the Neogen- but the toner. I have yet to try the serum , but now I want to 😅 I also love the Skin1004 serums!!!! Their hyalu-cica is awesome! And PS- you look lovely with your new hair color 💗💗💗
Oh thank you so much!!! The Neogen one is so unique and the texture of it is phenomenal! Highly recommend! I;m excited Skin1004 is releasing some new goodies and I will check out the Hyalu-Cica!
Thank you for recommending the best out of the ten. Also thanks for specifying ingredients in the description I I ❤ I’m new to Korean skincare and will definitely be buying at least one
You'll have to let me know which one you decide to try and how you end up liking it, fingers crossed! K-Beauty has so many great and affordable products to choose from, I'm sure you'll be hooked!
the purito and benton are total HG products for me!! The Pyukang yul and hygee serums tempted me, but there's too much ingredient overlap with my purito and benton serums. I may try the PKY black tea toner version or that Real Ferment Micro Serum bc it looks exciting.
The PY Black Tea serum has an amazingly long list of ingredients. I love the iUnik Beta Glucan serum. It works better for me than hyaluronic acid serums. The Beauty of Joeson Calming Serum is great for getting my skin to calm down when it’s upset. I recently discovered that my skin doesn’t like niacinamide. I thought I was still dealing with barrier issues again because my skin would sting whenever I put on certain products. The common ingredient for them all was niacinamide. Now, I have a box full of skincare that I can’t use.
I wouldn't give up on them yet. Some people can use a small amount niacinamide such as 2% long as their barrier is in good condition. There have been times when my skin has stung with a niacinamide product whereas other times that has not. I always try to back off on actives and use barrier repair products when that happens. I think the stinging could be a sign of reduced barrier function at least for me personally
@@pajamamama5965 The Beauty of Joeson Essence Water contains a small amount of niacinamide (3% supposedly). My face has no problem with it as long as I don’t use it daily. I hope that my skin will eventually be able to handle the Vegreen serum. The Purito unscented serum would be nice to use, too. I’ll try them again after a break-one at a time, once a week to begin with. I hope you’re right.
I tried it awhile ago but I think they have reformulated it since then and I literally just picked up the current formulation and am just getting around to testing it out, definitely will do a thorough review asap!
@@NOBSBeauty I can't wait!! I've been curious about this one for a while now. I'm currently looking for a new morning moisturizer, something that works well under makeup. I've seen comments that people like the older version better or people say it sits on their skin. I've also been waiting for reviews on the new skin1004 madagascar centella probio-cica cream. I just wish they would get rid of jar packaging.
I've got a few- Glossier's Super Pure Serum contains 5% niacinamide and is fragrance free, it is a bit pricey but overall a good product. Cos De Baha also has a couple of serum with 5% niacinamide- one also contains tranexamic acid if your looking for something brightening - that might be worth checking out - it is call their TN Tranexamic Acid Niacinamide Serum. The newer Minimalist brand also has a 5% Niacinamide Serum, but I haven't tried that one yet.
Which ones are least likely to cause breakouts on acne prone skin? I fancy the Neogen ones.....Or the PKY black tea one but the latter is 29 EUR on yesstyle at the moment.
I would say the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Serum is pretty friendly- does contain vitamin e and Sorbitan Isostearate, but other than that it is going to be nice for acne prone skin, especially since it contains some nice pre-biotics which can help with the microbiome as well as centella to fight redness. The PKY Black Tea is also very friendly for acne prone skin- only Ethylhexyl Palmitate on the entire list. Lastly, the Purito Centella Unscented Serum only has carbomer, which is very low on the comedengic scale.
I love your videos! I've gotta laugh at your comment about the small size vs. the huge size if traveling. I can easily see me landing in TSA jail over my K-beauty serums! You'll be prying them from my cold dead hands....
That happened to me once - I had just picked up a Boscia cleanser and forgot to put it in my dad's checked luggage. They took it from me. I hope someone put it to good use at the TSA!
Hold on let me hide my wallet
😂
For real 😂
True😂😂

So I mixed up the Neogen ones- the Essence and Serum are fragance free but the Toner is the one that has fragrance in it. 😉

I love the neogen mist. It's amazing. Also vegreen cica serum, there aren't enough words for how amazing and hydrating it is

You read my mind! I was looking into this. Which two are best anti-aging (day & night) 40+
Thanks for the information! I have not tried any of these brands, but, the Neogen serum sounds great. I will try that soon.
The Neogen is so wonderful- highly recommend!!!

The milk thistle repair cream is more of a clear gel cream, it’s not thick, very light. I haven’t used it too much yet but it’s nice.
I'm all about a gel cream- going to have to pick this one up- you sold me!
I love the dog

Thanks so much!
You are so welcome! I think today is the first official day of spring- I've been waiting all winter for this day, lol!
No numbuzin serums? That's a first. No. 3 is a class above all
I'm literally just about to start testing that exact one you mentioned! Now I'm really excited for it@
What happened at the end? Did Brad Pitt get influenced to try one of them?
Yay Sarah
How does Numbuzin 3 serum stack up?
I'm currently about to test that one as well as their Number 6 Serums so I will report back!
