Legitamently a beautiful choice of song to go with this animation! Not only is Tsumugi written in an entirely different context here, but the entirity of the song fits with the tragic loneliness that danganronpa's premise as a whole gives. It's important for a community to stay together and take care of one each other, and when they don't, they end up tearing itself from the inside out. It's haunting how such a bop can feel so lonely, and even more so in how you manage to hit every beat to make each death so incredibly stylized and fully utilize the song's atmosphere. Fucking excellent work.
I think one of my all time fave things about this is that you had parts of the story that she was not really shown in. but managed to get across what she would be feeling much like the Exisal and how frustrating it must be to feel she might lose at her own game. but to everyone else it would simply look like her wishing to figure out not to die with everyone else

This is amazingly well done. The emotions of everybody contrast extremely well with Tsumugi. Also, I love how you portrayed Kaito and Kokichi in the planning and execution of Trial 5. Seriously, this is a beautiful animatic that does incredible justice to Tsumugi’s character as well as the game as a whole!! 💖💖💕💕

The way you draw everyone is so good, i want to steal your art style tbh, especially the way you draw Kokichi. Idk theres just something abt how you draw his hair and outfit that is visually appealing to me. As well as that sometimes in character design, a character who acts childish will be drawn with a missing tooth or braces, and 2 times in this animatic, it looks like he has one or the other. This is a detail I find really clever. Not to mention Ryoma looks like someone who could actually exist. Another thing is the transitions and how you portrayed certain elements. 0:10 this transition from Tsumugi to her Junko cosplay is awesome 0:30 this depiction of Rantaro's death was really cool 0:42 the water and thorns look really nice and are another cool way of depicting their deaths 1:00 that frame of korikiyo with the lipstick slays tbh 1:14 I really like the way it went from the virtual world to the real world here 1:19 - 1:23 Kokichi just looks so smug and evil here then switches to childish and unserious so quickly 1:27 Tsumugi's expression is top teir here 1:28 - 1:32 everything here from the crossbow bolts, strike-9 poison, and especially the high five + them holding the frames with the question marks is awesome 1:37 his expression here is amazing, its such a small change, but it does so much 1:38 - 1:43 this going from Kokichi's scared face, to Kaito dead, then the transition from the stars in the sky to Maki is absolutely amazing, especially the transition to Maki. The way her hair was animated was really cool 1:46 this is honestly heartbreaking, good job 1:50 - 1:55 + 2:00 I love puppetry imagery and symbolism in media, so I found this really cool 2:24 - 2:28 the way Tsumugi's hair was animated was really nice and Monokuma looked genuinely adorable, I didn't even know that was possible. I only have nice things to say about it, and if I had a better vocabulary and the ability to write things better, I could do this animation justice with this comment. I have immediately subscribed :]
