i remember right before i went on, i saw people just finishing the ride and every single one i saw was straight miserable... then i went on this ride and felt exactly the same after it was done. would never ride this again.
I strongly recommend not riding this ride. I went on it in June and not only did my seat fail to lock and fell during the the first drop, but I also received a concussion from the way that the harnesses were placed. This ride is not safe. When I tried to to report what happened Six Flags showed absolutely no concern and hung up on me on multiple occasions.
PointlessPickle2 why on earth would I lie about that? I had a concussion on both sides of my head from hitting my head on the safety holster that comes over your shoulders. You can literally see people in the video hitting their head in all videos of this ride. With the stabilizer between my legs not secure it was even worse.
Austin Zentner I agree with Brennan it is not that it is scary well at least for me it isn't but you do hit your chest really hard in every single loop even if you push yourself away..
I literally feared for my life on this ride. I was flipping out of my seat all over the place and the restraints don't really do much. And when the ride ends you're basically hanging upside down and the workers just laugh at you instead of trying to help. There's gotta be a handful of people who've passed out on the ride. No doubt
Keith Telesh I've ridden it plenty of times, and I agree with Austin. Just because you can't handle the insane G forces doesn't make the ride "horrendous."
I am a veteran of coasters -- been on hundreds. But this one -- yes, it is physically punishing, but I actually found this one to be kind of, well, terrifying. It was the sensation of being thrown over "the cliff" while upside down and at odd angles. I honestly didn't think any coaster could scare me in the slightest at my age, but this and X2 do, much to my amazement.
I love how the logo shows b&m track because they just lazily took the same one from the sfga green lantern and slapped it onto this one. Classic six flags.
Literally had back pain for at least a week when I rode this last year. Who was the person that said "know what'd be great? as soon as you're on a level track, let's get jerked violently in the/ opposite direction and let the speed continue to build so you're jerked even more violently as you get to the end of the track."?
That ride hurts! First time I rode it after it jerked me in ways the human body was never ment to go, I went back into the station upside down. 2nd ride, a courtesy ride to give it another chance it jerked me all over the place, and some random guy I ride with had his nuts smashed. Never again will I go on this ride.
I rode this a couple of weeks ago and the experience was awful. Some people have a better experience than others if the weight on both ends of the cart is equally distributed. My partner and I are tall and weigh about 200lbs a piece and the two they sat us with on the opposite side were two little girls that couldn't have weighed more than 70lbs each. So the weight distribution meant we had 160 more pounds on our side. These kids were so excited to ride again that we thought the ride would be a lot of fun. When we started going through the ride we noticed that our side tilted down pushing us against the straps. I figured, it'll just add to the ride and we would get a few good spins in. We hit the first drop and started spinning. The spinning never stopped the entire ride. Each spin caused more and more pain. And I could hear the little girls behind us, "ahhh what's happening? Why does this hurt? Let me off!" I felt so bad and could only hope the ride would end soon. Never again!
That is a hell of a queue. We waited about two minutes to ride... two minutes too long. The ride is not fun, just incredibly painful. I was seeing stars at the end like I had just smacked my head. I was on the opposite seats and didn't even have the luxury of seeing where I was going...
I had the same thing happen on the Batman ride. The mirrored, compact clone of Silver Bullet from Knott's Berry Farm. It was more G intensive than Silver Bullet. My head was smacking the restraints left and right. I was congested that day and all the mucus in my nose went to the back of my throat. It was suffocating me. I couldn't breathe and my head was being rattled around. I was seeing black dots and white stars. It was the closest I've ever come to fainting or passing out in my life.
I love how this ride boosts the businesses of local chiropractors. Never again this ride. Take it from me and everyone else who comments on their experience after riding this coaster, it will mess you up.
Ive been on every roller coaster around me, every ride at like 4+ theme parks and this ride is the most painful ride ive ever been on. When I got off this ride i was seeing stars because of the excessive G force and head banging.
I don't get why people hate this ride. I loved it! I thought it was pretty smooth except for the G's you pull. Other than that, the height is fun and its really scary!
Most people said that it was a painful experience. I bet most people aren't satisfied to know that a ride will leave you in pain. Not reassuring really.
@@nicolethegreat7313 it's not just the males. Females have complained too. Last time I went thank God nothing happen to my balls. But the bar is so tight on your thighs it hurts. Also I went today and it was close. Most likely for good
I tried to ride this just for the credit so I can have ridden every coaster at Magic Mountain (except the two kiddie coasters I can't ride), and I couldn't even fit in the seats. I'm a big guy, so I'm used to that happening occasionally. But this barely had anything to do with being overweight and a lot to do with being just barely above an average height. I couldn't even fit under the shoulder restraints, and my crotch almost certainly would have been destroyed by the fact that there was a large bump in the seat directly on a very sensitive area. When the guy tried to push the restraint down, my shoulders and chest were in extreme pain, so it's a good thing I couldn't fit because it would have been the most painful experience ever. My friend's bf was barely able to fit and he's significantly smaller than I am, and he came off of the ride thoroughly regretting it. This ride only continues to exist because it counts as a roller coaster for the park's total. Other than that, it serves no purpose.
That's crazy, I felt it took my legs out and ruined my day since it was the first ride I went on my legs were in pain for rest of the day it took my soul@@saravitores4137
movieboysHD Nah, I've learned if you dont stand at the right angle or make one move, your balls begin to get crushed by the lift hill. But then again, we all have different opinions.
HyproDevo the last time I rode Riddlers Revenge, my seat got stuck all the way at the top so I was dangling the entire ride. I may not have balls but that was extremely painful lol
+HyproDevo I've never been on Riddler but if its like the Green Lantern in NJ which is a standup then yeah If you sit wrong I can see how guys may have a hard time. I just felt like Molested a bit. If you sit in the back of that thing err stand, its basically like a fight for survival but in the front its actually kinda cool
This ride gave me second thoughts about whether or not I truly want to be a green lantern, having to experience this every time you fly using a construct.
With what others in the comment section are saying, this reminds me of stand up coaster in Great America called Iron Wolf. My god was it such a relief when they tore it down. That coaster would just annihilate your crotch and if you weren’t in enough pain, the coaster also would violently shake your head and body. You’d feel like your insides just turned to mush. Hopefully they’ll destroy this soon as well. I feel so sorry for those who have experience this ball busting piece of shit.

“Arghhhh!”
“Oh no!”
“Cmon!”
“Shit!”
LOL 😂 Poor guy! Never got to go on this ride but I remember a lot of people warning me about this one
This ride took my legs out and I was a boxer and an athlete and a season pass member I would go regularly this ride was the worst
I love how this ride boosts the businesses of local chiropractors. Never again this ride. Take it from me and everyone else who comments on their experience after riding this coaster, it will mess you up.
You know it's bad when the cameraman complains
RIP Green Lantern First Flight.
Wait a minute! Not RIP! Who is going to miss this ride!? NO ONE.
I will, I like daring my friends to ride it
Not Rip, it's heading to Montreal sadly ;(
La ronde is getting another shitty ride
I have never felt so much pain, this is 10x as scary as superman
Ive been on every roller coaster around me, every ride at like 4+ theme parks and this ride is the most painful ride ive ever been on. When I got off this ride i was seeing stars because of the excessive G force and head banging.
Same
1:34 looks like that hurt the most
I got a bruise on my hip from this ride, my least favorite ride that have ever ridden
i got bruises on my thighs, hips and shoulders i couldn't walk.
Infinite while I’ve never rode this ride, the worst I ever got was my stomach being punched by it repeatedly and in quick succession
Same here or when I went on that ride I was hurt I had bruises on my legs and I had one on my arm it hurt like hell and I couldn’t feel anything
Vasectomy on a budget
When i rode this, that last part hurts you.
It does, the harness squeezes your legs tight on the last part so you dont fly out and it hurt
I literally flew out and my friends hit their legs. But im small so i didnt get hurt as much.
Jasonn Ami I don't think you would have flown out of your seat. Because if you did, you would have possibly died or be paralyzed. Just a thought :l
Hudsen Kartor I did fly out of my seat into the restraint hanging there
that makes no sense.. theres a seatbelt between your legs AND a restraint... its practically impossible to fly out..
In bluest day, in blackest night. No balls will escape my might...
🤣
Currently watching this on the ball buster right now
Aka “Ball Crusher”! 🤣 I never got to ride this, but why would they have a hump in the crotch area? Bad harness design!
The fact that it looks shitty was enough to keep me off of it
Haha
No way am I seeing green stars. More like seeing green barf. DX
They weren’t screaming because they were scared. They were screaming because they were in pain.
Yep
I’ve only been on this ride once. That’s all I needed 😭
I'm laughing so hard I'm crying! That has to be the funniest coaster video I've ever seen!
It’s funny because of how bad it is... and this comment section is hilarious lol. But still, RIP to the men’s unfortunate balls who rode this lmao
Hydrus at Casino Pier is also a great one... everyone was like that on their first coaster...
I rode this 😭. I still remember the pain. They closed it though
I thought it was just me but i had pain in both my legs for the rest of the day green lantern was my first ride
We understand what you mean! A wild painful ride.
Do you have balls?
You’re right all the males want this ride shut down because they’re sacks get squished like who cares
I'm pretty sure I died at least twice on this ride.
I died just by looking at how painful it is
madmann1000 actually, we have a ride similar to this one in Spain, and a guy did die while riding it
That's crazy, I felt it took my legs out and ruined my day since it was the first ride I went on my legs were in pain for rest of the day it took my soul@@saravitores4137
Oh come on guys, this is the SECOND most painful ride. Riddlers Revenge is a ball buster. :)
movieboysHD Nah, I've learned if you dont stand at the right angle or make one move, your balls begin to get crushed by the lift hill. But then again, we all have different opinions.
HyproDevo ok
HyproDevo the last time I rode Riddlers Revenge, my seat got stuck all the way at the top so I was dangling the entire ride. I may not have balls but that was extremely painful lol
+HyproDevo I've never been on Riddler but if its like the Green Lantern in NJ which is a standup then yeah If you sit wrong I can see how guys may have a hard time. I just felt like Molested a bit. If you sit in the back of that thing err stand, its basically like a fight for survival but in the front its actually kinda cool
Janet Vonnik Riddlers revenge isnt painful, the others might be.
This ride gave me second thoughts about whether or not I truly want to be a green lantern, having to experience this every time you fly using a construct.
Am I the only one who actually likes this ride?
Master0Corvo nope 6 people including you and me like it and 87 people did a hate comment.
I would like it if it wasn't for the fact that it hurts ur feet
Master0Corvo this and X2 are my favs.
Same! umhchud
I haven't rode it yet, but my favorite are X2, twisted colossus, and apocalypse.
I remembered I was full of tears after ride this ! Painful !
So scared
As painful as this coaster was it would be cool to go on it one more time... Too bad they tore it down. R.I.P G.L.
It didn't get torn down, it got rellocated to La Ronde.
I love this ride so much
Everyone hates this ride
How to render yourself unable to reproduce
Step 1: ride this
Step 2: suffer
This feedback is just wild. we loved this ride!
1:33 Man I hope this guy is ok
"To put it delicately, it was a pelvic nightmare."
Pretty much!
Rode this ride and thought my crotch died. And I’m a female. I was walking funny for a week.
I was also walking funny after I got off it took my legs out my crotch area did feel like it died
lmao "haaalp haaalp upside down" 😂
I've watched this video so many times since it came out. It's so damn funny, but at the same time I feel sympathy for that poor man and, literally, anyone else who went on this ride. I'm so glad they finally closed this.
They sold it to Le Rande in Quebec. I want to ride it again.
just by looking at the rides layout i could tell this would be a painful experience.
This hurts but I still go on it anyways lmao
It’s amazing at the end of the video the ride breaks down.
this thing is more painful then skyrush at hershey park
Of course
Skyrush isn't painful! It's really fucking awesome!
+Noah Steinke Skyrush is a ridiculous amount of fun, someone obviously doesn't like airtime!
Noah Steinke Skyrush is t nearly this bad
Noah Steinke I was there yesterday.
It's not every day you get to ride a roller coaster that removes you from the gene pool. They should have made that a selling point.
Ha ha ha ha best comment ever!
It's pretty surreal to see people lined up for that thing
All my friends and family that have gone on this refuse to go on again because it is genuinely painful. Thats too bad.
The last part of the ride crushed my chest.
This channel just became theme park review
Who’s celebrating because the ride closed??
Cuz I am! 🎈 🎉 🎊
1:31 this part hurt so much just to watch, and i haven't even been on the ride
